but once I had learned not put distance with the woman I love after climax (to cuddle), I began to wonder why it was I had ever felt detachment before.
[Read the article: Ah, the mysterious female orgasm]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Maybe thats why men see sex as something they need to do.
Because the male orgasm is more like a need to reproduce, an animal need...like eating and sleeping.
But the female orgasm has to do with comfort and embracing someone and feeling them embrace you so that you feel more like a whole.
I can't sleep....it's 4:30 in the morning and my boyfriend hasn't come home yet....I have an idea where he is...and its all well cause he's just with friends....but I can't sleep with out him...I don't feel safe.
For me being a woman is endless forgiveness and apology. I have a need to nurture and a need to protect....and I have a need for comfort...not just sex.
I'm going to go write some more....I'm getting all poetic.

Fuck both of you
[Read the article: Ah, the mysterious female orgasm]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You think you're so fucking special because you BIG men come onto a women's issues site and bombard everyone who thinks that women feel and may have hatred and misogyny spewed against them every day.
and it fucking sickens me.
Brightstar...I let my boyfriend read a couple of your comments...and do you know what he said...'HE HAS A POINT, YOU KNOW'
Do you know how much that depresses me? I sit in this fucking house all alone every day just so he can go out and live his dream as a tattoo artist....and then I watch his kids for while he works on the weekends....and then on his only two days off he wants to go back to work....He said he can't stand it at home any more...and I think its me.
I can't drive...I'm trapped...I can't go anywhere....I don't have friends anymore....Theres so much I need to do and I can't because he's not around to help me.
AND I KNOW...If I got a job or went back to school it would become a big disaster because nobody would be around to watch the kids for him. And his ex-wife is relentless.
So fuck you both....I HAVE NEVER MET A MAN IN MY LIFE WITH ANY TRUE RESPECT FOR WOMEN.

[Read the article: Hero of the day]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I don't know many women who would do the same...but I'm thankful for women like her in the world.
you go girl.

I love ellen and her comedy.....
[Read the article: Ellen to McCain: Walk me down the aisle?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]She is definitely the more masculine of the pair...Does anyone else notice that Portia is GORGEOUS!
I have both her hbo specials....and I relate completely to her way of thinking....
Like her controversy of cd wrappings...she's like, "what is this shit!! GOVERNMENT PLASTIC!!"

Appologies....
[Read the article: Ah, the mysterious female orgasm]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I've had a bad week...and I need to stop feeling sry for myself.
I'm just letting depression and monotony get the best of me. I should stop blaming everyone else...and begin looking at myself.
I apologize to everyone for spewing my intimacy...If someone could tell me how to delete my own letters...I'd be much obliged.
I feel ashamed of myself because of a few posts I've put up this week....I don't blame my boyfriend...I don't blame blacks...I don't blame men....
Truth is...I don't even know if I'm feminist...I don't know if I agree with present oppression and misogyny....
all I know is what I'm told. I'm too young to know better...I'm too brash and bold.
I'm just a defensive person...and I'll defend what I am....
sorry black men...
sorry brightstar...
sorry parson jim...
sorry myself for being retarded.

Shame
[Read the article: Shocker: Sex-ed class mentions pleasure]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I think masturbation is something that kids usually discover on there own...but it doesn't necessarily make for a good topic for a 7th or 8th grade class.
Most kids at age 13 know what sex is and have probably touched themselves at one point or another and already know about it. So discussing it in a class probably wouldn't hurt...It might even help individuals who need to speak about there bodies. So I wouldn't disapprove. The shame that many parents hold against sex education is just stupid.
Maybe they should set up letters to go home to parents asking for permission for such classes....And include in the letters that parents should consider discussing such issues with their kids.
I actually watched a movie the other night that aroused this topic for discussion with my significant other....It was called "Teeth".....Its about a girl who unrealistically has a big problem with vagina dentata...which was actually in one of broadsheets articles awhile back. At one point in the movie they are in a sex ed. class and just finishing a discussion about the penis....then the teacher asks them to turn over the page to see the...um...umhrrm...well...
The students are shocked to see that a sticker is covering up a picture of the vagina....The teacher tells them the school board had it covered because of explicitness...and one student asks how it's any different then them seeing the picture of the penis.....Dawn...the main character says, "because women have a natural modesty..." and everyone begins to laugh.
It was a pretty good movie...but most of the men in it where unrealistically big assholes....Still...If you like gory movies made to be funny...its a good one.
