It's all a blur. You can only watch 400 or so episodes of Law & Order before it's all sort of the same thing. Must be true for politics as well.

To be honest, I stopped watching regular L&O about the time Elisabeth Rohm quit. It seemed to me that the quality of that show just kept on slipping and slipping... now I mostly watch SVU, and sometimes even CI, although it's not my favorite. I watch L&O reruns on TNT occasionally.

But I'm glad McCoy is the new DA, rather than some random new actor they could pull in. Neither Diane Weiss's character nor Fred Thompson's could really match the wry, sardonic wisdom of Adam Schiff, and they both ended up being caricatures of themselves. To me, Law & Order sort of reached its high point during the Jamie Ross-Abbie Carmichael era, and has sort of been beating itself into irrelevance ever since.

As for the new ADA (and AADA?), I have no idea what they're like. You'd have to tell me!

Abbie Carmichael, with her oodles of badassitude, is the only hyperconservative woman I have ever loved :-)

The lowest rate of current illicit drug use was among Asians (3.6%).

In any case, once again, that's not the issue here. The tendencies of any racial group to do one thing or another do not necessarily reflect on individuals within that racial group, and I for one try to take people for who they are and what they've done rather than what they are.

The issue is whether or not a candidate's opponent should be able to use their admitted past actions against them. I am just continually annoyed at how people are using one man's possible reference to Obama's past drug use as a way to bash Hillary, yet again. It's getting so old, people.

All this proves is that people will jump on any excuse to irrationally assault Hillary, while safely guarding Obama on his pedestal. The double-standard is what's sickening here.

What I don't think people understand about cleaning services is that they're not really there to pick up your crap for you... they're there to clean stuff. Like, vacuuming the carpet, washing the floors, dusting things, etc. If you just have volumes of personal possessions lying everywhere, they can't really do much with it.

My parents get a cleaning service for their house, and I know that before the 'maids' we always have to clean for them. Not clean, per se, but get all the crap stored and out of the way.

So, a cleaning service might be helpful once you get everything where it needs to go, but they are not going to do like Clean Sweep and organize everything for you.

As long as we're talking about implementing churchy things into the Constitution, it would be pretty awesome to legally enforce just war theory.

Well, it constantly amazes me that in the ignorant public's collective mind, homosexuality = gay men. Clearly, this is a male problem, and has nothing to do with homosexuality per se. You don't see any discussion of lesbians getting this infection more than other people.

The issue here is that men are typically not as cleanly (or whatever) as women, therefore they are more likely to catch or transmit this infection. It's simple probability, and nothing to do with morality, that males in frequent contact with other males (whether because they are macking or because they are sharing locker rooms, saunas and whirlpools) are increasing their odds of transmitting and catching.

You'd have to perform some pretty crazy logical contortionism to come to a conclusion other than that.
