This strip reminds me very much of the short film "Powers of Ten" by Charles and Ray Eames.

Contemplating these things can get you a little lost.

Almost as funny As those dimwits who believe all terrorism is because of poverty and not enough hugs.--Anonymous

Yeah, because there are a lot of people saying that. Strawmen are such easy targets; aren't they?

One must almost feel sorry for the indefatigable Joseph Lieberman as Fox's favorite Democrat. So tired...

Tom does a good job this week of capturing the Fox crew; my favorite is his rendition of the doughy-faced Gibson.

This trope has always annoyed me as well. I absolutely loved Keith's conspiratorially whispering about how "I know this ain't PC, but..." (the typical boilerplate that frequently precedes a bigoted remark). Keith manages to skewer both bigotry and pro forma anti-racism with one swoop. Nicely done.

... but it made for a satisfying cartoon. I'll stash Keith's action under things I'd like to do but never will.

For whatever reason, getting behind the wheel of a car does seem to turn many otherwise sane, decent people into impatient jerks. I got a secondary chuckle out of this cartoon because it reminded me of the last minute of the movie Election.
