[Read more letters about this article: Here]I for one am quite amused, although not overly surprised, about the hatred espoused toward Camille by the radical Leftists on Slate. Hers is thought with a logical basis, and she says what she believes via her own beliefs (which are generally spot on)and knowledge. Hers is not the mindless knee-jerk reaction so in favor of the Bush hatred crowd.
Read through the comments and look for her detractors to try and defuse her via their own intellect; generally it doesn't occur.
The "Religion" of Global warming is no different than any other, save the fact that in this case their God is certainly a pagan one. Illusions of grandeur from tiny people with tiny brains. How fitting their prophet is Al Gore.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Our society does, in the most part, disdain the true and honest hatred of others based on their skin color or other unimportant aspect of their appearance. However, when has it become wrong to joke about things in a manner that is politically incorrect? Imus can be a jerk but he is no conservative. His greatest error is simply not being Liberal enough so the media ignores his detractors.
Rosie O'Donell was on TV pulling her eyes into slits and saying "Chingy chung chinky chung chung!" and did you hear anything from Liberals? Noop. Racism and hatred are ok if you have earned your dues I guess amongst the media elites.
And what about Imus' most vocal detractors? Take Al Sharpton, this pompous pompadoured buffoon who smeared feces on a child and blamed all the white men in an entire police dept. Has he ever apologised or needed to?
What about Jesse Jackson, who admits to spitting into white people's food on simple hatred alone, or who calles NYC "heimietown". YOu must see my point.
Imus biggest mistake is not simply telling the media to shove off from day one. Now we have to listen to him grovel every day as his former Liberal friends scold him and kick him to the curb.
