  • Quick critique--DCA--National Airport

In reference to National Airport, natives DO NOT call it Reagan. It was long known as National before it had the first name of an ineffectual past president attached to it. Speaking as someone who has spent 90% of their life living in the DC-area and flying into and out of its many airports--its National Airport. If by 'locals,' you mean yuppies and politicians (who usually hail from rural Pennslyvania, Connecticut and Virginia) then okay, they probably do refer to it as Reagan Airport.

Also, I have to say that although they fixed National up nicely 5 or so years ago, its no great paradise.

  • Oops, my mistake

Well, I totally misread the reference in relation to DCA. I thought you said something along the lines of "call it Reagan or else!!" That just goes to prove how much locals dearly hate the name change National underwent. My apologies for all the venom, the DC area is so full of irritating transplants that sometimes it gets to you!!
