We need people like Bush and North

Your Editorial would get an A in a civic class and all the students could marvel at the content, context and good use of references.

In the real world we need men like Bush, Ollie North and other unnamed individuals who are willing to put their careers and names on the line to as they say "do the right thing".

that course of action is open to criticism, dangerous and if left unchecked could could cause more serious problems than the ones they are trying to address.

Glenn Greenwald's attitude is what encouraged a string of attacks which predated 9-11

In the comfort of the classroom and auditorium Mr Greenwald would get a round of applause. If real problems arise and we are asked to line up behind someone I think you will find that the line will be longer behind people like Bush and North. Its not about patriotism its about common sense

The Democrats lack good judgement

I haven't read Klien's article and didn't read your responses but I am convinced of one thing after listening to the Democrats for the last several years. We cannot trust their judgement in matters of public safety.

Don't trust the Democrats to keep us safe

It always amazes me that so many people look at many of the procedures used in law enforcement as "cookie cutter". They have preconceived ideas of how an investigation should proceed. It never works out that way. Anyone who has ever ever been inviolved in any kind of a criminal investigation, court ordered electronic surveillance, or pursued a suspect will attest to that. If you place enough restrictions on any of these procedures they will fail. It is a fluid unpredictable process. I have paid careful attention to the objections of many of the politicians concerning our "war on terror". The only thing that I'm certain of is that we cannot trust the Democrats to keep us safe.

Original article: Bill Ayers talks back

Ayers - I'm not a terrorist

Bill Ayers admitted in an interview that he bombed buildings but he didn't want to kill anyone. If that isn't a terroist act what is?

He has tried to recast himself as a social activist it just doesn't pass the smell test.

the effort to reinvent him and other radicals from the antiwar movement that were invovled in violent activities likes Ayers defies common sense and good judgment. Ayers may be a darling in the academic world but he is just another left-over from the 60's

In addition people who thought like Ayers tried to murder two of my coworkers
