The Question I would like to ask Mitt.
[Read the article: Mitt Romney's biggest brand]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You have five sons and you haven’t been able to convince even one of them to join the military and “Fight them over there so we don’t have to fight them here”. So why should my sons, or anyone’s sons for that matter, join the military and be on the front lines of this war? If you can’t convince your own kids to do it why should anyone else sacrifice their lives for this war?
It seems to me you support this war right up to the point where it might actually affect your family and then it seems the rules change.
Well, come on Mitt, you have FIVE sons. I want to see at least one of them in Iraq before I can believe anything you say.
Let’s see some “Real Patriotism” from your family!

Shooter242
[Read the article: The Weekly Standard's "9/11 Generation"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]· If you have a question, step right up.
The answer to your first one is.... a high draft number. Unlike the left's favorite modern day President I didn't have to write to powerfully connected people, or leave the country. Next?
Shooter242
A HIGH DRAFT NUMBER! That is your excuse for not joining the military, that is truly pathetic. I would have loved to get out going to Vietnam, I certainly didn’t want to. I even tried joining the Texas National Guard, but for me they had a 6-year waiting list. Unlike your hero who waltzed right in and even got to be an officer without going to officer training school. And then didn’t even have show up for the weekend meetings. I will have to admit that was real political clout. I lived through it, barely sometimes. I was no hero just a survivor. But I was probably 30 years old before I could pull out of what happened to me over there and start having a life. Essentially they stole my youth from about 18 to 30 with their war. And for what. Oh right, fighting godless communists. Not that anyone remembers or cares today.
And now I see big talking tough guys like you could easily have joined but didn’t. Maybe you can BS younger people about how you got out and didn’t serve, but you and I both know what a lame excuse you are using. The Army would have taken you in a minute but you chose to let someone else die for your lame beliefs and to never actually dirty your own hands. I can see now why you are such a strong supporter of the other Chicken hawks who started, support, and most importantly profit from this war. But never actually make any sacrifice them selves.
You might want to change your name from Shooter to something else, because as far as I am concerned you are just shooting blanks.
How about “mommy’s boy”! I think that fits you better because let’s face it, when it was your time to step up to the plate and fight for your beliefs, you hid behind your mommy’s skirt and you have continued to do it in one form or another the rest of your life. Tough guy, I don’t think so. Just another big pussy Chickenhawk.

Kitt and Karen
[Read the article: The Weekly Standard's "9/11 Generation"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]OK, maybe that was not the best adjective to use.
But you have no idea how much contempt I have for the “alleged tough guys”. And how much I don’t want to see another teenager have to go off and die or have his whole life messed up because the tough guys are so afraid to do it themselves and need someone else to do their dirty work. Talk about child abuse. There is no teenager who has the maturity to make a decision to join the military and go to war. How about a minimum age before you could join the military---21,30,etc. The bigger number the better. Believe me that would help a lot to stop these senseless wars.

WOW, This is great!
[Read the article: The artful seducer]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]One of his classes should be required for every "Young Republican" male out there. If they could just learn his skills maybe they could get laid enough when they are young so that when they get older they don’t have to start a war, or kill a whole lot of animals, or both, in order to find a little satisfaction in their lives.
I also think that his class might be good for many of our leaders today, except that probably most of them can’t take a dose of Viagra large enough to do them any good anymore. Too bad, because I really think that if they had been as successful, as he says he is with women, when they were young, we wouldn’t have had to started a war with Iraq. But alas, not much hope for them I am afraid. But if we could somehow help from preventing this problem with the next generation think of all the human lives that would be saved, money that could be spent on something helped society, and the poor animals who would not have to end up on some mighty republican’s wall over his fireplace.
They probably need one of these classes for the gay males too, Oh wait a minute, I forgot, they are all going to get cured with Rev. Ted. Let’s keep that closet door locked!!!
