  • McCain Blames the Media For Vetting the Candidate he failed to Vet

    It also laughable to consider their argument that the sexist media is trying to "destroy the first female Republican Nominee". So in other words, if you question the credentials of the candidate or investigate her history you are a sexist trying to destroy the candidate.

    I see, so thats why McCain didn't Vet his VP. McCain didn't want to vet his VP because he did not want to be a sexist.

  • "Victory" in Iraq

    I think these reactions and polls may also be a reflection of the recognition in people that there is no such thing as "victory" in Iraq. People see that McCain is trying to stick it out a little bit longer to claim some quasi form of victory in order to save face. The Country admitted defeat a long time ago and does not need to see a few hundred more dead soldiers to come to terms with that.

  • The timing of the Announcement, just seconds after the Stevens Guilty Verdict

    raises the question of whether this story was held or inflated to cause a distraction from the damage of the Stevens verdict. Stevens is a long-time Republican. The ATF is a federal agency under the auspices of the President. Hmm.
