Original article: Breaking the Iraq stalemate

How many times

do I have to tell you people???? We have no power. We live in a facist dictatorship now. As long as the military obeys the presidents orders, there will be war. In Iraq, in Iran, in Syria. Congress CANNOT stop the war. Even if they stopped all funding, the president would take the money from somewhere else. He is not a president of a democratic republic, he is the dictator or a barbaric, waring nation bent on world conquest. War with Iran is a given. Congress cannot stop it by passing 'laws'. The president does not obey 'laws'. So until this 'president' willingly steps down(I don't think he will), this country will be at war. So go buy some Halliburton or KBR stock and settle in for the ride. The war will not and cannot be stopped until either the Iraqi's run us out of their country or until every last US soldier in Iraq is dead. Have a nice day.

It's nothing but

theater. The GOP NEEDS this occupation to make them feel like real men. They live through these poor soldiers. It is truly shameful. More must die so that those who have died will not have died in vain? It truly is mass insanity. The president and the GOP are holding 165,000 American hostages in Iraq and they won't release them until they(the troops) WIN. Win what? Who is going to surrender to us? Jesus H. Christ, this is really bizzaro world, right?

Duh!!!

Glenn,

Get real! The Dems will be CALLED NAMES if they block unlimited warrentless domestic syping. CALLED NAMES for God's sake, Glenn. Oh, the horror of ,choke, being called, choke, SOFT ON TERROR!!! OMG, I think I'll just feint if I have to even THINK about it.

Uh-huh

Harry already has his knee pads on in preparation for the BJ he'll give Bush when the veto comes. Oh, well, glub, glub, don't have the votes, glub, glub. I just hope it's televised so the entire country can see what prostitutes our Democratic 'leaders' really are.

Original article: Why Bush won't attack Iran

Mission from God

Bush is on a 'Mission from God'. One of his 'tasks' is to stop Iran from getting 'The Bomb'. God has directed Bush to attack Iran and so Bush will attack Iran. Simple as that. God will protect our troops and our country. Bush is simply a 'Tool of the Almighty'. Me, I'm stockpiling food and water. Knowing Bush, he'll declare martial law immediately after the nukes start flying. Yeeeeee Ha!

You just can't

trust Republicans. About anything. Ever. Period. When will the Dems grow up and live in the brutal world of conservative politics? Republicans cannot be reasoned with or negoitated with. They can only be defeated. Soundly. Forever if possible. Republicans are THE ENEMY that will destroy America as we know it. They would love nothing better than to rule a fundamentalist Christian nation. They are FACISTS. Jim Webb, will you learn anything from this? I seriously doubt it.

Yes, Joan,

You are missing the glaring fact that the Democratic leaders in the Senate are cowards. The Republicans are right, Democrats are a bunch of wimps. They are so afraid of being called nasty names that they betray their own country. I call it treason and cowardice under fire and I think they should all be shot at sunrise. At least then we might be able to get some new blood in the game. Cowards and traitors, every boot licking one of 'em.

Totally false

Bush is not a Texan. He's from Connecticut. Just the fact that most Texans don't realize that just shows how ignorant they are. I was born, raised, and still live in Texas. Texans LOVE war. The first thing a Texan does when confronted with a problem is to restort to violence. It's the willful ignorance of the entire state that sickens me. I can sum up the Texas view of the Iraq occupation in a bumper sticker:

Support the troops, keep 'em in Iraq forever.

Texans are just to stupid to see the disconnect. No wonder my state is at the bottom of everything from education to child services. It's a backward, small minded state and it's determined to stay that way.

Cowards

That's the word I use over and over again to describe the Democrats in congress. I am so glad someone else has noticed also. These people aren't 'leaders', they are paper tigers. At this point I really don't think this country deserves to survive. With 'leaders' like this, I doubt that we will.

So?

That's what dictators do, isn't it? Face it, the U.S. is no more a republic than Burma is. The executive branch is accountable to no one. They do whatever they see fit. So stop calling the U.S. a democracy or a republic. It's a facist dictatorship and will stay that way until the people rise up and take back their country. Yeah, I'll hold my breath for that. :-

Original article: Oversight is for wimps

In Other Words

Sit down and shut up. Congress has no role in government. Oh, and Henry, pay no attention to that black Surburban following you home tonight. We're just 'concerned' for your 'safety'. Oversight. HA!!!

The Noise Machine

As long as the conservatives have their giagantic noise/echo machine, we will all live in bizzaro land. Where we can hunt and kill gays but if you have oil, we will invade and destroy your country. Ain't life in a facist dictatorship fun?
