When the press is owned by the opposition, it's awfully hard to get your message across. Since no Republican will be interviewed by anyone other than Fox, they cannot be questioned seriously. This Bizzaro World in which we now live will continue to escalate until two things happen:

1. Public financing only of all local, state, and federal elections

2. Break up of the huge media corporations that control 90% of the information we get.

Until then, Republicans are free to tell the public that Democrats are lizzard people from the planet Amock and want to suck out their eyes to fertilize their lizzard eggs. Problem is, Republicans have gutted our educational system to such an extent that now 30% of the people will actually believe them.

Something to the effect of 'God help the president who knows less about the military than I do'. This was not meant to infer that the next president would not know how to use the military, but to outright say that this nation is in mortal danger if a president does not know how to RESTRAIN the military. Sadly, Dwight was right. We are suffering today as a result of a military gone viral. If they can be restrained at this point is questionable. If we keep letting them have their way though, is not questionable. It will be disasterous for the entire race. For the entire planet. Obama is obviously not up to the task. He seems to be the worst kind of enabler. An enabler of mass murder on a global scale.

How can anyone trust a man who says he wants to develop a system consistant with American 'values' to indefinately detain anyone who may be a threat at a future time? This is going much, MUCH, further than even the purely evil Mr. Cheney and clueless Mr. Bush went. This is one of the main things the founders started the revolution over. This man Obama cannot be trusted. I fear we have been duped. With a spineless congress and far right court system, we could end up looking more like the U.S.S.R. than the U.S.A. in a very short period.

If you just think about it for a minute it all becomes clear. Who would our government want to kidnap and hold forever? It wouldn't be a footsoldier or even a general. It wouldn't be a cleric. Maybe it would be someone with knowledge of how to build a nuclear weapon. Maybe it would be someone whose weapons network could supply nuclear materials. I'm just sayin'....

Now our latino population gets to sign off on torture and endless, chargless, trial-less, imprisonment for anyone the Unitary Executive chooses. What a giant leap forward.

Republicans account for about 22% of the electorate these days. Why do they get 90% of the attention? Is it that they own all of the MSM? Is it because they have great ideas that need to be heard? Is it because they have a sterling track record of competence and efficiency? No. It's because they CAUSE DRAMA. Compelling drama. Drama that attracts viewers. And the MSM loves viewers more than truth. They profit off of drama. They create drama if none exists. Our MSM has turned into Entertainment Tonight for politics. What was Michelle wearing? What does she grow in her garden? What does Bo the Dog eat for dinner. This nation does not stand a chance of surviving with a far right MSM obsessed by sex and fashion. We are so over.

Seeing that in DC a person can authorize torture and be hailed a hero, can start a war murdering hundreds of thousands based on lies and still be hailed a hero, can obstruct justice, lie to congress, destroy evidence of a crime, and expose a covert CIA agent all with impunity, I don't see any reason to object to Burris buying his Senate seat.

Obviously the rules for medical personell involved in torture have changed. They are now encouraged to participate and rewarded handsomely. Oh, and they get Wednesday's off to play golf on one of the many CIA black site golf courses built at taxpayers expense. Hold on tight folks, detention camps for dissenters are on their way to your community. Part of the jobs program by King Obama. Down with stem cell research, up with torture. Is this a great country or what???

Do you know why I don't give a shit about Sonia the Supreme? Because I don't have a say. It's up to Unitary Executive Obama and the old white men in the Senate to TELL me who will decide my fate. SCOTUS will continue to strip me of my rights until there are none left. Anyway, the very definition of a Republican is someone who can advocate two opposing views depending on which party the subject belongs to.
