So Obama is going to let The Bush War Crime family go scott free. When he does, I hope everyone will realize that they are living in an Elected Dictator Facist state now. Where the individual is the servant of the state and those in power collude with one another to subvert the rule of law openly and without shame. When he does, I truly hope that maybe we can give Mr. Obama just a little more 'change' than perhaps he was looking for. At least Cass was honest in his belief that the best justice is no justice at all.

For eight long years that what I suspected was not true. Now, with Glenn reaching the same conclusion, I cannot deny the fact that the politican class has staged a coup of the government. The law has been subverted. The opposing partys wink and nudge each other in their josseling for fistfulls of cash. It has become so corrupt and so unresponsive to real, human suffering that we, the people, may as well not exist. It seems to be a disease that infects everyone who lives for any time in DC. Maybe term limits are the answer. Our so called representatives have become far to comforatable in their DC coven.

Before taking office. Then, suddenly, accountability is for other people. Now that Bush has shown Obama how easy it is to ignore congress and the people, I'm sure he'll out-Bush Bush. Barr would too. Imagine if YOU were King of the U.S. Hell, I'd exectute most of congress for treason.

You have such a pre 9/11 mindset. These days, as the Democratic congress has demonstrated again and again and again and again, the president IS the government. He writes the laws(signing statements), he executes the laws(that he approves of), he immunizes people from crimes(FISA), he immunizes people from testimony(Rove), and he declares war(Iraq). So when people swear an oath to protect and preserve the constitution, they are, in fact, swearing a loyality oath to the president. So come on in to the 21st centruy, Glenn, and realize that you live at the pleasure of the president. Your freedom is dependent on only his personal good will towards you. Should you become to inconvienent to him, you will be detained indefinately and tortured at the whim of George W. Bush. It's a new world, my friend. Try to keep up.

And it is not just our government that is reviled. We, the people, have done NOTHING to stop the wholesale slaughter of men, women and children by our military. Our representatives in congres have done NOTHING to rein in the extreme violence we visit upon Iraq every day and night. We are a nation of cowards and criminals. It is a fact. There is nothing standing in the way of defunding the Iraq occupation except our politicialns desire for easy reelection. This nation is a disgrace. America, as we once knew it, no longer exists. This is a barbarous country that needs to be sanctioned in the extreme by the law abiding nations of the planet. Our leaders in the executive and legislative branches must be tried in international courts and, if convicted, imprisoned for life. If this is not done, and it will not be done of course, this country will end up laying waste to the planet Obama or no Obama. It is time for the citizens of the United States of America to take back our government by force. If we do not, it will be our own fault when our children choke on the polluted air and sicken themselves on the tainted food and water. It's time to storm the Bastille. Seriously.
