Backward

Florida must the the most backward of states. Do they really think sending another Bush clone to DC will help anyone but the Bushes? It's just incredible that the people of one state could purposly send the brother of a war criminal to commit more war crimes in their names. Florida is a disgusting place not fit for intelligent beings.

Disgusting

These people are not Americans, they are Republicans. There is a huge difference. Americans believe in equality, liberty, justice, and democracy. Republicans believe in absolute power, loyalty to the party, torture, rendition, political prosecutions and mass murder. DiFi has always been a Republican. Don't know about Wyden but if he hedges on torture, he'll hedge on everything. This just goes to show that I have always been right when I have said that this country is now a barbaric state run by barbarians for their own personal enrichment. DiFi and Wyden are just the latest examples. Just wait until Obama endorces torture.

In case you hadn't noticed

The military runs this country. You critize them at your own risk.

As I remember

'Just following orders' was not a defense at Nuremburg.

We can never be rid of the stain of the last 8 years of tyranny until the war crimes perpetrated by these monsters have been prosecuted and punished. Anything less will be a whitewash and will push this country further into 'rogue nation' status. Anything less will GUARANTEE that it will happen again. Maybe this time to journalists.

Enemy of The State

Currently, every citizen of The United States of America is an enemy of it's own government. We are searched, watched, wiretapped, imprisoned without charge, taxed with no representation and forced by economic policy to send our children to be slaughtered for oil contracts in Iraq. ANY sign that ANY enabler of George W. Bush will be staying on is to us like full custody of children to a pedophile is to their mother. We are all suffering to one degree or another from PTSD. The Republican party has raped this country, looted the treasury, and set us on a crash course with the largest economic depression in the history of humankind. If Obama wants our help, he'd better start signaling with appointments or decent human beings. If he keeps Hayden, he will loose my support, my respect, and my pocketbook. He will have ONCE AGAIN proven that national security cannot be handled by Democrats. At this point, with Dems once again caving to Mr. 22%, I really do fear they are all too cowardly to protect this country. Their roll-over reflex is just to developed for them to be effective.

Pixie Dust

I believe the Pixie Dust of complete immunity has already been sprinkled on the entire Blackwater corporation by some underling at State. This, like everything else Republicans do, is just for show. The judge will dismiss and all 6 will receive the Medal of Freedom for killing terists. Sickening.

Reid??? Investigations???

Don't make me laugh. What happened to the Tillman 'investigaion'? That's right, NOTHING. No one was ever even the sightest bit embarrassed by that fiasco. Reid is a pussy. Reid is a Morman. Reid is a patsy. He huffs and puffs but then when the Republicans lift an eyebrow, he quickly caves. Congress is a joke. Disband the entire legislature and let the Unitary Executive investigate, write the laws, pass the laws, enforce the laws. Hell, that's what's happening now and just look how well things have worked out. I want Reid gone. I'll even give money to scum-of-the-earth Republicans to get rid of Reid. He and Nancy Girl are the most cowardly leaders in American history. Sickening.

Barbarians in a Barbaric Land

This nation of the United States of America is a barbaric country filled with barbaric people. Especially in the congress. We have known for years that the Democrats in congress approved of torture and wireless wiretapping. Now that they are in control we will never know the scope of either 'program'. This country is over. It died the second Bush was appointed by Republican judges. Obama has no choice but to cover up for his party leaders. As he does so you will see that he does not mind crime at all. I predict that he, like Bush, will come to embrace the 'dark side'. I think I'll go home and sharpen up my pitchfork and build a nice torch. Looks like they may come in handy.

No biggie

Glen! As you have pointed out, how can war crimes be prosecuted against Cheney when they would have to prosecute the entire Democratic leadership as well? Lesson to future generations: before you commit a crime in office, tell the opposition about it and threaten them will prison if they tell. Then when you confess to the crimes, no one will prosecute you because they were all willing accomplises. Cheney will live out his life in luxury and riches while Charles Grainer will be in prison for doing what Cheney told him to do. This place we live is no longer a 'nation'. It has become The Fatherland.

Democratic culpability

Seeing that the Democrats in congress are just as guilty of war crimes as Bush/Cheney, nothing will be done about these crimes. Nothing. We citizens can write, call, telegraph, fax, protest, scream and yell at our 'representatives' but they refuse to listen. They do what they always do: cover their own asses. No one will ever be prosecuted for war crimes. No one will ever be so much as questioned about it in public. Obama has already received the message loud and clear: prosecute Republicans and get impeached. We did it to Clinton and we'll do it to you. Oh, and the torture will continue. It's part of our national identity now.

Palinized

Taxpayers do not matter to politicians. Only when they STOP paying taxes do they matter. And then only to fill the prisons so as to get the support of the prison guard union. Caroline is perfect for the Senate. Dumb as a box of rocks with the name recognition of a superstar celebrity. Look out Sister Sarah, you have competition.
