Meet the new boss

Same as the old boss. I don't know if Mr. Obama has courage. I do know that no other Democrat in congress has an ounce of it. As long as there is one Republican in congress, the Democrats will abandon their principles, their plans, their mandate, and their morals to make that one Republican happy. No matter what it costs the country or the planet Republicans must be deferred to at all costs.

If the Republicans want Obama to continue to torture people, he will continue to torture people.

I just can't wait

I just can't wait for Obama to give Bush the Medal of Freedom. It will be a sure sign that it is not Dems vs. Repubs but The People vs. The Government. It's also refreshing to see that Obama will cave to the Republicans as Presnit just as he did as a Senator. If he could just manage to start a nuclear war with Russia he would replace Reagan as the patron saint of The Republican Party. Why not? He's above the law.

One Thing We Have Learned

Eric Holder will do exactly what Obama tells him to do. If there is anything we have learned from the last 8 years it's that the president is king and no one is allowed to question him. Obama will decide if Bush broke the law. Obama will decide if Cheney broke the law. He will instruct his congess and his AG accordingly. My feeling is that no investigations will be allowed by Obama and no charges will ever be brought against any one in the Bush administration. All in the spirit of 'bipartisanship'. Sickening. Obama is no different than Bush. Just younger.

King Obama says no

King Obama has directed his forces not to investigate or prosecute any crimes committed by the Bush administration. All in the sprit of bipartisanship. How nice that he can decide for the entire planet who should and who should not be investigated. I guess that makes him the 'New Decider'. I can't wait for his decree that we should just 'forget' the last 8 years and 'move on' from here. To say I am dissappointed with King Obama is a vast understatement. I now fear that this president as well as future presidents will feel free to rule by fiat. At least we should save some money by disolving congress. For all the good they do they may as well not exist.

The Judge and what army

There is no court in the world that Bush will respond to. Anyone who thinks that just because a judge orders it, Bush will do it has not been paying attention. These people will remain in prison until Obama frees them and us from the criminal grip of the GOP.

Original article: Trust Obama on Clinton

The last time

The last time I trusted a president, it was LBJ and his Vietnam war. Never again. Clinton's foreign policy experience consists of dodging nonexistant sniper fire in Bosnia. She is not qualified. Never has been, never will be. I just can't imagine what Obama is thinking. To me, this is a serious lapse in judgement.

Proof

Well, there's the proof. Dems are too wimpy to do defense. They need a real man, a Republican, to protect them from the mean boogy men. I hope the Republicans beat the hell out of Obama for this in 2012. What a cop out. What a wimp. What a Democrat. Pitiful.

Credibility

I personally will never believe that the U.S. is not holding someone somewhere and torturing the living shit out of them. This genie has left the building. Now that we are officially a state sponsor of terrorism, we can never go back. The cowards that promoted and practiced this dark art will go free and possibly return to torturing under a new administration. When a president can redefine any word or phrase he wishes, and the people let him get away with it and the media gleefully supports him, well, it says that this country is over. George W. Bush has truly destroyed America and everything it stood for. This country, this planet, will never be the same. RIP constitution.

The New Journalism

It's the new journalism, Glenn. They are taking a page from the Bush/Cheney book of responsibility. Deny everything at all times. Misdirect, lie, cheat, steal, do anything and everything to keep your crimes hidden. At this, sadly, they will succeed. None of the other CSM(corporate sponsored media) will touch this story for fear of their own culpability coming out. NBC, CBS, MSNBC, ABC, FOX, all of 'em are run by the marketing departments. The info-tainment they so charmingly call 'news' is so corrupted by their corporate entanglements that I have stopped watching them completely(except of course for Keith and Rachel). As you say, they are nothing more than propaganda outlets for the Republican party. What we need is a break up of these giant media corporations. And some new anchors. The ones we have now have absolutely no credibility left.

The point is moot

With the codification of the Unitary Executive by the Democrats in congress, the cabinet and congress itself have been rendered moot. They do not matter. They have no power. They are simply window dressing for the president to stay safely and securly above the law and rule as he wishes. So it really does not matter who is in congress or the cabinet. Obama can and will use the Unitary Executive power given him by congress to rule completely unaided by any other aspect of the government or by the people. In the U.S., the president is king and we are all but pawns in his games of politics and personal wealth accumulation. All we can do now is try and survive. Good luck to us.

A Small Plot of Land

And once congress abolishes the 'death tax' and all that inherited wealth is passed down, maybe the Lords will allow we serfs to have a small plot of land on which to grow our food. Giving the Lords their 90% share of course........
