Change????

That's why when I hear that Obama is going to change the way things are done in DC, I say Bull-Shit. Nothing will change except that now Dems will be the ones getting the lobbyist money to cheating me instead of Repubs. Obama, like every other politician on earth, will go along to get along. I wouldn't be at all surprised to learn that the Repubs already have impeachment articles to present on January 21st, 2009.

Bottom line: Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Yipee.

Preserve, protect, and defend

Face the facts, Glenn, that the only thing Democrats want to preserve, protect, and defend is the privilidge they enjoy as highly paid courtiers to the Unitary Executive. Why is it that WE have to listen to them all week and THEY never listen to US???? If I were giving a speech at the convention, my first line would be 'I can see no reason for any Democratic member of congress to be proud of their performance in the last 2 years. They should be ashamed of themselves. I can't see have they can show their faces to this nation when their pledge to end the occupation of Iraq produces MORE troops not less.'

A normal American needs to grab that mic away from the gasbags and tell them what we're all thinking. Tell them what a horrible job they have done. Tell them that every death in Iraq since January, 2007 is THEIR FAULT and if they had an ounce of self respect they would have committed hari kari long ago. These conventions are nothing but a talent show where AT&T picks members of congress by their willingness to subvert democracy. It's disgusting and I have not watched a minute. These Democrats should be getting pies in their fat faces, not applause.

Original article: What Sarah Palin means

So you're switching parties, right Joan?

A woman in the White House. A woman in the White House. We don't care what she does there just as long as she's not a he.

Get on board, Joan. She's a woman. You have to vote for a woman, don't you?

Like a rabid dog

This country needs to be put down like a rabid dog. Sometimes you really DO have to burn a village to save it.

Competence?

I take extreme umbrage at you characterization of Hillary Clinton as competent. She allowed her campaign to fail by not leading. I hope you have read the accounts of her failure to make decisions and set a chain of command. She was not competent at all and I am thankful beyond belief that she did not win the nomination. Your Hillary comparisons to Palin also lacked Hillary's one true advantage: Bill. No on will ever convince me that had Bill never run for president, Hillary would have run for the NY Senate seat. She may still have pursued office but without her husband, she would not have stood a chance. The Clinton's ambition for power for power's sake has always disturbed me. Would I rather have Clinton as VP of John McCain instead of Palin? My honest answer has to be no. Why? The Bosnia Lie. No one who lies to me gets my vote. Not even Obama.

The Enemy

We, the people, now know who the enemy is. It is both political parties. All four Dems and all Repubs should now be arrested for treason, tried, and hanged in public. This is beyone 'out of control'. This is treason. This is the stuff revolutions are made of. Send money to Cindy Sheehan. She alone has made a stand against the corruption of Nancy Pelosi. She will be on our money someday. If we survive.

Delusion

And if anyone thinks these criminals will just walk away from the scenes of their crimes so that others may investigate them, then I have a bridge in Alaska to sell you. Bush/Cheney is not going to step down. They will invent a scenario that will give congress the excuse to cancel the elections. Better stock up now. It's gonna be hard dodging those 50 cal rounds from a Blackwater amored vehicle on the way to Piggly Wiggly.

Anyone who approves this should be Out Of Office

A new movement OOO. Let your reps know that if they go along with this bailout they will be OOO. These Republicans and Democrats are TRAITORS.

I bought this rock

for $10,000.00 and now I can't sell it!!!! Please include me in the $700 billion dollar 'recovery package'! Oh, and the value of the rock has gone up to $100,000.00 so I'll need the extra $90,000.00 to make sure I don't take a loss with my value-added, All-American capitalist profit model of value driven assets vs prone position hedge investing fund dynamic cost and deactualization formula. Just make the check payable to me personally and send it to my Bahama residence. The one on the beach, not the condo.

Thanks much,

Sonny B Stockseller

Crazy conspriracy buffoons!

I know what you mean, Glenn. The next thing we'll hear from these lunatics is that the War for The Souls and Minds of Iraq, WFTSMI, pronounced WHATFOOTS-ME, was for Iraq's oil! HA! Crazy bastards. Plus, if they cancelled the elections it would mean that they had something to hide. We KNOW that's not true. So if you see black Hummers with 50 cal guns mounted on the roofs roll through your neighborhood bear them no mind. They're just there to 'protect' you. Kind of like they protect the good people of Iraq.

It's a shame

It's a shame that to get quality care you have to be a doctor. And a vacation? What the hell is a 'vacation'? My father died when his surgen went on 'vacation' and could not be bothered to return. Most people can't afford a 'vacation'. It must be nice to be a rich doctor who gets first rate care by being 'one of the team'. Next time tell them you don't have insurance and see how fast they put your mother on the street.
