This congress is a sham. They exist only to codify GWBs crimes. If he shot children for sport, congress would grant him immunity and change the law to make child hunting legal. Our ENTIRE GOVERNMENT is a disgrace. They know it an do not care. Soon, very soon, we will have to ask the UN to intervene and depose GWB from his throne. I feel like I'm in the middle of a bad novel. A criminal with his finger on the button and no one on the planet with the courage to confront him. Disgracful.

You'll be just like every other doctor in this piece of S**T country. You'd rather be playing golf than helping children. You'd rather be rich than proficient. You'll hire lobbyists to defeat universal health care and you'll heap scorn on the clinics that try to aid the poor. You will aid the governments torture program against 'insurgents' and you will design a program to inflict maximun pain while limiting any damage that you would have to repair. So please, Rahul, spare me the caring BS. You got into medicine to become rich. You can't become rich by treating the truly needy. You'll set up practice in the same BH office as your orthopod and you will turn down patients who can't pay. Face it, doctors are all the same in this country. Rich Republicans who would as soon hit a child with a car as help a homeless person. CHEERS, MF!

You have such a pre 9/11 mindset. These days, as the Democratic congress has demonstrated again and again and again and again, the president IS the government. He writes the laws(signing statements), he executes the laws(that he approves of), he immunizes people from crimes(FISA), he immunizes people from testimony(Rove), and he declares war(Iraq). So when people swear an oath to protect and preserve the constitution, they are, in fact, swearing a loyality oath to the president. So come on in to the 21st centruy, Glenn, and realize that you live at the pleasure of the president. Your freedom is dependent on only his personal good will towards you. Should you become to inconvienent to him, you will be detained indefinately and tortured at the whim of George W. Bush. It's a new world, my friend. Try to keep up.

Now that Bush has shown Obama how easy it is to ignore congress and the people, I'm sure he'll out-Bush Bush. Barr would too. Imagine if YOU were King of the U.S. Hell, I'd exectute most of congress for treason.

Now, with Glenn reaching the same conclusion, I cannot deny the fact that the politican class has staged a coup of the government. The law has been subverted. The opposing partys wink and nudge each other in their josseling for fistfulls of cash. It has become so corrupt and so unresponsive to real, human suffering that we, the people, may as well not exist. It seems to be a disease that infects everyone who lives for any time in DC. Maybe term limits are the answer. Our so called representatives have become far to comforatable in their DC coven.

When he does, I hope everyone will realize that they are living in an Elected Dictator Facist state now. Where the individual is the servant of the state and those in power collude with one another to subvert the rule of law openly and without shame. When he does, I truly hope that maybe we can give Mr. Obama just a little more 'change' than perhaps he was looking for. At least Cass was honest in his belief that the best justice is no justice at all.

If you are naive enough to think that ANYONE in this corrupt government will stand up for the rule of law, then I have a bridge to sell you. Every Democrat and Republican in government today is a corrupt criminal trying as hard as they can to steal taxpayer money and deprive the American public from participating in government. If Obama does what his surrogates say he will, and sweeps the crimes of the last 8 years under the rug, this country will be have crossed the very last barrier to facism. Not to worry, though. There are more than enough brown shirts for the Democratic and Republican neocon patriots to wear. And Halliburton is building detention centers as fast as they can for the rest of us. Cheers.
