He should be stripped of the nomination now that his true intentions for the continuation of an imperial presidency have surfaced. It is only a matter of time before he discloses that the occupation of Iraq is keeping America safe and that we cannot leave until all sides reconcile(which will be never). If I had the money, I'd sue Obama for fraud. He well could be the Manchurian Candidate they say he is.

Congress is full of 'em as is the WH. So face it, there is nothing we can do. They do not respond to letters or phone calls. They do not respond to investigations. They do not respond to legal rulings. They just continue their criminal behavior. Please, someone, tell me, WHAT THE HELL CAN BE DONE?

Misunderstanding

[Read more letters about this article: Here]I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding. Maliki cannot risk the US pulling out. We are the only thing propping up his govt. He is preaching to his base, the Iraqi people. It means nothing, Bush does not recongnize the Iraqi people as having a say in Iraq. After all, to the winner go the spoils as in oils. Iraq is our 51st state and Obama is determined to keep it that way. When you look at your 5 year old son, parents, just picture him in his Army dress uniform with the blood of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis splattered all over it. That is your son's future. Is this a great country, or what?

Unforgivable

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama's support of the nullification of the fourth amendment to the U.S. Constitution is unforgivable. He will not get my money, my support, or my vote. We now have a choice between a facist and a fool. The problem is that we don't know which candidate fits which label. They are obviously both facists and with the FISA vote, Obama looks as foolish as McCain. So now it really doesn't matter who wins the election, the American people have already lost a piece of their liberty that can never be returned. This country is over.

He will assume the throne with glee at having absolute power over the citizens of the U.S. I will not be surprised when he realizes that he can make a whole lot more money keeping the war going than stopping it. He will also privatize social security and end Medicare. Obama is a fraud. Obama is a traitor. I will be writing in John Edwards when I vote. Obama can go to hell.

They can listen to our calls and break into our homes for no reason. They have complete and total control over us and we have no protection. This country is truly over. This is not America, this is East Germany. And yet Harman and Rockerfeller will win reelection easily. Oh, and Obama is right on board with them. You just wait and see. He will out-Bush Bush. By the end of his first term there will be people fleeing the U.S. just like they are fleeing Iraq. I can't wait for the snappy new uniforms for DHS. I hear they are thinking lighting bolts for the collars. Perfect.

Not just our government

We, the people, have done NOTHING to stop the wholesale slaughter of men, women and children by our military. Our representatives in congres have done NOTHING to rein in the extreme violence we visit upon Iraq every day and night. We are a nation of cowards and criminals. It is a fact. There is nothing standing in the way of defunding the Iraq occupation except our politicialns desire for easy reelection. This nation is a disgrace. America, as we once knew it, no longer exists. This is a barbarous country that needs to be sanctioned in the extreme by the law abiding nations of the planet. Our leaders in the executive and legislative branches must be tried in international courts and, if convicted, imprisoned for life. If this is not done, and it will not be done of course, this country will end up laying waste to the planet Obama or no Obama. It is time for the citizens of the United States of America to take back our government by force. If we do not, it will be our own fault when our children choke on the polluted air and sicken themselves on the tainted food and water. It's time to storm the Bastille. Seriously.
