I have the upmost confidence that, after thinking about it for awhile, the Dems will submit. After all, it has be proven that Democratic leaders in congress were told of the ILLEGAL wiretapping and the ILLEGAL torture of SUSPECTS and DID NOTHING. As Johnathon Turley said on Countdown the other night, the Dems are not capitulating, they are covering up for THEMSELVES. THEY gave tacit approval to ALL these policies and now they want to BURY THE EVIDENCE AS MUCH AS BUSH DOES. Do do not expect this to end in any other way than it always does and always will: with the total capitulation of the Democratic leadership to the criminal Bush regime. I wonder if we'll all have to wear those calf-high boots and goose step after the formal coup?

There is nothing wrong with lying to the public in order to win an election. Everyone does it. Once you are caught in one lie, tell another and another. Eventually, the questions will stop and the topic will fade. So what if he took money to intervene on behalf of a lobbyist? So what if he had an affair with a lobbyist? It does not matter. What does matter is that his ethics are beyond reproach and that he would never, ever lie or state an untruth. It just doesn't make sense that he would try to cover this up. He lives in Arizona. He works in Washington. It makes no sense. He could not have lied because it makes no sense. This is a non story because, say it with me, IT MAKES NO SENSE.
