    I enjoyed the essay. It touched on several complicated issues. I'm a mother of teens. I've tried to raise them to feel fortunate of and thankful for the good things in our lives and to have empathy for the unlucky. I cringe to read the sad and nasty comments by some; these stunted folks must have been raised by wolves.
