  • Good Piece!

[Read the article: Why Hillary Clinton should be winning]

Finally, someone is saying what I've been saying all along. I do hope the Democrats and their superdelegates wake up and see the truth in time to save the party from certain defeat at the hands of the Republicans if they field Obama.

  • Hillary is winning!

[Read the article: No, Hillary Clinton shouldn't be winning]

    Your article is wishful thinking.

  • What's good for the goose?

I find it amusing that many are offended that Hillary and McCain (mis?)interpreted Obama's words about the bitterness the small town people of Pennsylvania feel.

I did not hear this uproar when the media put a racist spin to the true and clear statement of Bill Clinton that Obama scored as highly as he did in South Carolina because of the large African American population there, or when Gerry Ferraro said that Obama had done this well in the race because of his race. Both statements were clear and have proven to be correct time and again, yet the media and Obama's campaign disparaged them as racist.

It looks like it is okay to (mis?)interpret the clear words of Hillary or her husband but not those of Obama. In particular, the word "race" must be avoided by all including the media, while African American Obama supporters feel free to pressure black superdelegates who have committed to Hillary to switch to Obama "so that they do not stand in the way of electing the first African American President". Really, I am African American but this double standard stinks.

  • Objectivity.

I am impressed that you always manage to be objective and fair to all sides while many of your colleagues in the media don't even bother to hide their bias. It's crude and offensive when a reporter or journalist shoves his or her biases and personal hate or hang-ups or baggage down my throat instead of just presenting the facts so that we can draw our own conclusions.

    Keep up the good work!

  • He looks to the past.

[Read the article: Whose fault is the Clinton-Obama stalemate?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

A much overlooked reason why Obama's style has gone stale is that his rhetoric about her how HRC voted for the war is essentially about the past. Hillary, in talking about moving the troops out of Iraq, does not dwell on the past (the reason for the war and the vote to enable it may indeed have been wrong), but looks to the present and the future.

She talks about how to bring the troops back with dignity and how to take care of the vets when they return. But Obama now sounds like a nagging spouse who keeps saying 'why did she vote for the war?' Sure, he says he'll withdraw the troops within 16 months but then, Powers, his Adviser told the BBC that this was just campaign talk. Just like his mentor, Rev. Wright, has now told us that his Race Speech of March 18, which the Press raved about, was just 'politicians' talk.

  • Oh Please!

[Read the article: Was Hillary channeling George Wallace?]

I guess it's okay if Obama wins by 93% of the African American vote in a state and does poorly among the white working class just as long as know one mentions it. Or that would definitely be playing the race card. This is how the Dem Party got itself into the mess it is in. A flawed black candidate who is mathematically ahead of an obviously stronger and better prepared white candidate. A sure gift to the Republicans this Fall when they should have reclaimed the White House. As I always say, they can go ahead and put him forward as their nominee and then DREAM about winning in November. Yes, that's all it'll remain, a dream. I'm black, and a woman, but I am embarrassed by affirmative action and cannot support a candidate whom I have serious doubts about especially when there are better qualified ones. The race card which Obama's supporters use to intimidate anyone who mentions it while he rides unashamedly on it with the black voters and black superdelegates (including blackmailing those who had pledged to Hillary) is cheap and disgusting. Have you stopped to think of what people like Bob Johnson, Thomas Sowell, Maya Angelou , Mike Nutter and Stephanie Tubbs Jones have in common? There's something truly liberating to a black person (I have found) when we think with our minds and proven abilities and not with our colour. The one helps you to stand out above mediocre values while the other ensures that we retain a victim mentality. Michelle Obama should try it. Believe me, it sure works.

  • The Price.

[Read the article: Are the Jews good for Barack Obama?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

This is the price the Democrat Party will pay if it abandons experience for a nebulous concept of "change". I doubt that the Jewish community will fall for Obamania the way the media has done. They will not entrust their security to an intern with high -sounding but risky ideas on security, and questionable ties. I guess the DNC will have to decide not to rely on the Jewish vote, to borrow from Donna Brazile, and to set their sights on blocs Obama can deliver. They will have to rely on college students, their professors and African Americans to see Obama to the White House. To borrow from you, that would require a miracle more impressive than that commemorated at Hannukah.
