One would think that ALL white women are voting for hillary. But that is definitely not the case. There are many many white women, old and young, who are voting for Obama. Joan is trapped in her own whiney narrative of sexism where it does not exist. hillary is being slammed because of her pattern of lies and obfuscation and tall stories. Just because she is the wife of a former president, does not entitle her to the oval office. Joan is exposing her own bias toward entitlement of white women.

all to be some of the most offensive stuff I've ever encountered.

And they also have the gall to then turn that around and make themselves victims. I have never heard such racist innuendos and bigoted statements come out of these so called feminists. I am confident that Obama will succeed. Hell, when John Cleese calls Obama brilliant, I am bursting with pride at my selection of a worthy candidate. Keep the faith. Salon has no credibility left. Joan is still stuck in the 60s.

  • Hillary is no feminist

Hillary voted for the war in Iraq. She would have won hands down if she did not become more like a man. I just see hillary as an alpha male in drag. Obama on the other hand comes off more and more as a man of reason whereas hillary keeps exposing herself as a person out of control. Stop enabling her. She is destroying the party.

I forced myself to watch the video. What a piece of manipulated nonsense. Questioning hillary's tactics now amount to sexism in the media.

  • When is Joan going to nitpick on hillary like she continuously does with Obama?

[Read the article: Obama and the white working class]

In recent weeks, hillary's campaign has tanked on many more important issues and nary a squeak from Joan. Where are Joan's words on Columbia, on the sniper tall tales and her near laughable foreign policy experience on bringing peace to Ireland? Instead, Joan, being the hillary shill she is on Salon, will keep pounding away on Salon, but to no avail. Oh, has Joan written yet on the $109 million windfall wealth of Clinton influence peddling? Now that is something most Americans can wrap their arms around.

  • Paglia vs Walsh

At least Camille is honest enough to acknowledge that she is rooting for Obama.

Joan Walsh cannot get herself to admit that she is propagandizing for Hillary Clinton by slamming Obama every chance she gets. Therein lies Walsh's dishonesty

Paglia should replace Walsh as editor at the very least. At best, Walsh shold be replaced altogether.
