Could Money Woes Eventually Force Clinton from the Race?
[Read the article: Hillary Clinton's petition ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]http://www.blog.newsweek.com/blogs/stumper/archive/2008/04/03/could-money-woes-eventually-force-clinton-from-the-race.aspx
"If Clinton is perceived to be in financial peril, she becomes a much less attractive investment for donors deciding where to give their money," writes Chris Cillizza of the Washington Post. "By the same token, if Obama looks like the nominee, he is sure to vacuum up the campaign cash of fence sitters looking for a winner." As the clock ticks down, Clinton will have fewer chances to gain delegates and votes, and Obama will appear more and more inevitable. Wins in Indiana and North Carolina on May 6--hardly sure thing, but possible--would only accelerate that process. All of which is to say that if Obama "looks like the nominee" at some point before the convention, Clinton's financial intake will likely flatline. In that case, she probably won't have the rainy-day money necessary to keep fighting (unless it's more of her own). Meaning that it won't matter what Bill has to say. The bank vault will have already spoken.

Who is more believable - Richardson or the Clintons?
[Read the article: "Richardson has never questioned Senator Obama's electability"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The American people are now more aware of the lies, obfuscations and deceit of the Clintons, from Lani Guineer to the storm of sniper bullets. They were successful enough to lay their whole baggage at the door of the vast right wing conspiracy. Today, that has all but evaporated and we see the Clintons for the dysfunctional family that they are. PA should retire them permanently from all things political. They have destroyed themselves beyond trick Dick Nixon.

Inside Donna Brazile's BlackBerry
[Read the article: "Richardson has never questioned Senator Obama's electability"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Commmenters on the fiercely pro-Hillary site HillaryIs44 have posted a couple of e-mails from Donna Brazile that capture some of the e-mail heat that superdelegates are taking -- in her case, from Clinton supporters angry at what they see as her stealth support for Obama in an op-ed calling on Hillary to stop throwing elbows.
Brazile responded to one angry e-mail:
Do you know how many undeclared supers are now just turned off by people like you? Do you understand you’re hurting her and not promoting Hillary? Perhaps that explains why a candidate like Obama has raised $40 million in one month. You don’t have to e-mail me again.
And also:
I just sent Hillary a private e-mail telling her that supporters like you are destroying her candidacy.
I spoke to Brazile just now, who confirmed that she's been shocked by the volume of "toxic" e-mails and responded to some of them.
Supporters of both candidates, of course, get pretty toxic at times (see the comments section on this blog), and the heat is pretty jarring to many who have spent careers in Democratic politics.

PA up for grabs
[Read the article: "Richardson has never questioned Senator Obama's electability"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]APRIL 3: The latest Insider Advantage poll has Hillary clinging to a small lead, although a large number of voters remain undecided:
The internals show Clinton leading only slightly among white voters, while Obama leads among blacks. However, a larger-than-average number of black voters remain undecided, which suggests an advantage for Obama if past results are an indicator.
Clinton: 45%
Obama: 43%
Undecided: 12%

hillary will now appoint a "Poverty Czar"
[Read the article: "Richardson has never questioned Senator Obama's electability"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Screaming, help, HELP, John Edwards. Please endorse ME. So what if Billy Bully and I made over $50 million just talking, talking, talking. We feel the pain of poor people. John, you got a $500 haircut! You understand us, no? You don't wanna be VP? Fine. I'll appoint YOU the poverty czar, while Obama will only offer Gore a cabinet position. Not an Environmental CZAR mind you. He does not like royal titles.
He is so unelectable because he has so many "followers" who will dump him the minute they find Jesus and join the real Family. Besides, he does not stay up all night like I do. I pick up the phone at 3a.m. on the first ring. I am ready to be CinC on the first ring and save our children from all those scary night prowlers.
Endorse me John John Edwards. Oh please John Edwards. See how fast I will eradicate poverty from our land, like you know, Bull Bill did by ending welfare as we knew it.

Obama takes the lead in Pennsylvania
[Read the article: Penn attended meeting on trade deal Clinton opposes]

Barack Obama 45
Hillary Clinton 43
Barack Obama has taken the lead in Pennsylvania, a remarkable turnaround after trailing Hillary Clinton by 26 points in a PPP poll in the state just two and a half weeks ago.
Obama's steep rise could be a reflection of a growing sense among Democratic voters that a continued divisive nomination process will hurt the party's chances of defeating John McCain this fall. An Obama upset in Pennsylvania would be virtually certain to force Clinton out of the race.
Obama has his customary large advantage with black voters (75-17) and is keeping it relatively competitive with white voters (49-38)
He leads across all age groups except senior citizens and balances Clinton's 10 point lead with women with his own 15 point lead with men.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hillary cried
"I misspoke
Can't Obama 'followers' take a joke?
Bullets I did not duck
Damn, I just ran outa luck
Exposed I got for tall tales
If all fails
Heck, I'll wear veils
Of false hopes
And demand an absolution
from the popes
of big donors for Hillary
to go chide and bully Pelosi
FL and MI delegates all mine
Superdelegates will fall in line
I will be selected
I will be elected
So shame on you Barack Obama
For coming across as the Dalai Lama
But remember I am Chelsea's mama
Who ain't afraid of even Bin Laden Osama
If you ruin my coronation
It will be an abomination
I will smite you
I will bite you
I will fight you
All the way to the convention.
