Doesn't it seem odd that all the sharp knives have come together in a critical mass just this week to discredit Obama and give hillary a free ride to boost her sagging campaign? Started with the "shame on you Obama" for NAFTA and plaigerism to the negative attack ads, to her blatant fawning over McCain. That alone should turn most Democrats off.
AKA is now trying out to be an Obama satirist and very badly at that. Here is a post that says it all:
@AKA SMith
You're really, really terrible at being sarcastic. I'm not saying this because you're a Hillary supporter. Notorious W.E.S - he's good at it, and actually funny. You - are just not. I was literally cringing in embarrassment for you, reading your posts.

David, I do agree with you that Obama needs to counter these baseless attacks by hillary and her enablers swiftly and strongly. Conason has a long history with the Clintons so I am not at all surprised that he is offering up his patronizing advice with a wink, wink, nod, nod at the Clintons.
I realize that Obama wants to stay on the high grounds and does sincerely want to change the tone of national and local politics. But when the opposition chooses to take the low road and call their assassins to parcel out hit jobs, Obama really needs to stand up and blast their destructive tactics.
Obama must not engage in any gutter politics and stoop to her level of innuendo and casting doubts through unsubstantiated claims.
What I am saying is that Obama really needs to be more forceful in calling her bluff and by extension, those of her surrogates.
What hillary and people like Conason are trying to do, is put Obama, constantly on the defensive. That only deflects the light from her own positions on some really worrysome issues like the war in Iraq, a possible war on Iran and her own lack of any foreign policy or elected government experience. The universal health care she so touts, must be remembered as a disastrous attempt on her part that left more people uninsured than not.
Going negative has given her a free ride. Obama needs to change that equation.
"I'm offended. And as trained, if not practicing, journalist, you should be too."
Jabari, journalism in this day and age is more about the business of protecting special interests and less about exposing the corruption of big business in politics.
People who fancy themselves as journalists, but who become lap dogs of any politician, should hang up their degrees and get into PR work for the politicians or corporations of their choice. There is big money to be made. And PR people who pass themselves off as journalists are those who are wined and dined and taken on travel junkets and make big money writing flattering books about their keepers.
Of the few journalists who have not sold out, I can think of Jimmy Breslin and Seymour Hersh and Naomi Wolf and Amy Goodman. Feel free to add names of who true journalists are, and who are PR people disguised as journalists.
"Why don't you go buy some real estate in the land of the lame? Because it surely is where you shine as its smarmy sovereign."
Now you are insulting lame people. They long ago did away with monarchy and the birthright to rule the lumpen masses.
This new tactic of Bill Clinton to promote this so called dream ticket is now really beginning to be worrisome on several levels.
First, it assumes that hillary has got the nomination all sewn up and to promote the perception that Barack Obama is being stubborn and not accepting this really great once in a lifetime offer.
However, when Obama wins the nomination, will hillary be just as enthusiastic to play second fiddle
