"If Clinton "swiftboats" Obama"

Clinton has already "swiftboated" Obama in the last week. Does she know how to throw the "kitchen sink." Her egregious ad on angelic young 'uns and the phone ringing at 3am harkened me back to the daisy ad of Lyndon Johnson against Barry Goldwater. hillary was a Goldwater girl then, so I think this is her best revenge :) Exit polls did confirm that the ad worked.

Also, she has swiftboated Obama when she mocked and ridiculed his big rallies and his good speeches and repeatedly implied that Obama is but an empty suit. And then the now debunked ad nauseam story on NAFTA and Canada.

But the one that clinched hillary's swiftboating for me was when she dissed Obama, a Democrat mind you, by saying that besides her, McCain also had more experience than Obama and therefore qualified to run for the President of the United States. I am now convinced that she is a lieberman Democrat, more in line with republicans like McCain.

Now here's a ticket that makes sense. McCain should ask hillary to be on his ticket.

Should hillary get her way with super delegates and the DNC, I expect a mass exodus from the Democratic party and an ultimate hillary defeat. If the right wing made their years in office hard the first time around, they will leave no stone unturned to derail her run to a second Clinton administration. But with it all, we will likely see the ultimate demise of the Democratic party which has strayed too far to the right.

Maybe then we can all think of opening the country up for a multi party system in which they will be forced to coalesce in matters of government.

Thanks for the more definitive term of "swiftboating." Makes sense and I sure never thought that way.

I remember consoling myself after George II was reelected. I kept saying to myself that the quickest road to socialism was a heavy dose of fascism, which we got in great measure from George and Dick.

Yes. A leftie can win in this environment. Bush has paved the way for that. Neither Obama nor hillary represent the progressive wing of the Democratic, but Obama is most certainly populist in his appeal and is bouyed by the groundswell of discontent by ordinary men and women who have felt so left out of the democratic process. This is really not about Obama. He just happens to be at the right time and the right place and has benefitted greatly from an outpouring of bringing the country back to its promise.

hillary will do anything to win and will destroy the Democratic party

and maybe it is time that the Democratic party make some real democratic changes within the party to be totally inclusive, get rid os special interests and super delegates and abide by its own rules and the will of the people. From elections decided in smoke filled back rooms to super delegates deciding the outcome, the party has consistently thwarted progressive ideas and inhaled the notion that somehow, top down politics is what is best for the lumpen masses.

What the people and Obama have generated in this campaign, is a repudiation of these kind of tactics. This grassroots movement is bigger than Obama, it is about the people, a bottoms up kind of democracy. People are rebelling against the dynastic monarchy of the likes of Bushes and Clintons who have this stranglehold in American politics. It is arrogant for hillary to think that just because she inhabited the White House, she is entitled to a presidency. Hell, she was not even a resident of the state of NY and look how they strongarmed her into a senate seat.

hillary is a cry baby. Should she willfully get her way and gerrymander the outcome of the primaries, rest assured that there will be a huge exodus out of the DNC and into something more substantive. The DNC needs to wake up to this possibility before its too late.

____If I sound condecending, then good because I am sure sick of all this Obama sainthood, high road, not stooping, new and holier cow poopy.

Obamites can now come down to earth and join the rest of us sinners._____________

How well you parrot your candidate and how well you imitate her behavior.

Here is an alternative to the Democratic Party which is disintegrating right before our eyes. hillary will surely destroy the party before she concedes defeat to Barack Obama.
