Barak Obama says his supporters may not support Hillary if she wins the nomination

Barak Obama says his supporters may not support Hillary if she wins the nomination

He said this on television. He said that if he, Barak wins the nomination, Hillary's supporters will vote for him in the general elections. However, his supporters may not vote for Hillary, if she wins. I see two possibilities here for this paragon of unity and change:

1. If Bark loses the primaries, he may run as an independent, thereby assuring Hillary and the Democratic party a definite defeat.

2. Barak will not actively support Hillary in her bid for the presidency, although he is certain that Hillary's supporters will vote for him should he win the primaries.

So much for the "uniter" and not the divider, the "healer" and not the one inflicting the wounds.

Voting on principles

Bah!! Voting on principles got us 8 years of George II. Gore would have won if people voting on principle did not slither over to the Nader camp. When will people learn to vote for the lesser of 2 evils? Do people honestly think that Obama is so squeaky clean? I know that Hillary is totally honest and I certainly know that Obama is not either. This is politics. When Obama makes a claim that his supporters will not vote for Hillary he is sending out a coded message. How does he know what his supporters will do? So now is he laying the groundwork for a third party run?

oops

meant to say that I know that Hillary is NOT totally honest

Is Obama such a saint?

-Obama's campaign circulated a memo describing Hillary Clinton as "D-Punjab," a reference to her Indian-American donors. Obama has said that was a mistake.-

So then, let's call it a truce. If Obama's dirty tricks are old news, then Hillary's dirty tricks should also be old news. Kapiche???

So you won't vote for Hillary because she was pro-war. Hillary has said that she will have the troops home as soon as she is elected. She did say that in the debate.

So people like you who will not vote for Hillary, should she be nominated, will most certainly ensure the election of John McCain, who is so pro-war that he publicly stated he could keep Iraq occupied for 100 years.

Mind boggling!!!

And I promise you, that much as I perceive Barak Obama as a modern day charlatan with his grandiose plan to unite Democrats, republicans and independents - should he win the Democratic nomination, I will be the first in line to cast a vote for him.

When will Obama speak at a predominantly white church?

Last weekend, Barack spoke at a predominantly black church, excoriating the congregation on issues of homophobia, absentee fathers, etc. These in my opinion are important issues to bring forth in any campaign, especially the rampant homophobia in this country which no one is addressing, except Barack but only in a black church - a sort of safety zone for him. But I commend him for that.

But now, I want Barak, the self styled messianic uniter and healer to address the issue of homophobia in a white evangelical church. He is trumpeting his ability to represent ALL in these UNITED States of America. I would like to see him get in the cross hairs of a white evangelical church and call THEM on their homophobia and prove that he can indeed treat both congregations to the same and equal dose of his medicine.

Then we can determine if whites will vote for Barak Obama.

Thanks for reporting that. I am impressed with his moral cajunes. Now if he can only hammer home some substantive issues and quit whining about the Clintons. Here is what he should do. The press has already become his surrogate for trashing the Clintons. He should let the press do his dirty work, while he promotes important and substantive issues that really need the air and press time. He should call the Clintons on Don't Ask Don't Tell, End Welfare as We Know It, the Clintons' dissing of Lani Guineer and Joycelene Elders.

captainlarab, et al

You mentioned that Barak was on the 700 club. I searched YouTube and came up with this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4L_M837Llcw

This is more a reportage and a brief interview with a reporter that really does not take the 700 club on its rampant homophobia. I wonder how h would fare with Pat Robertson on that issue. I this video he just states his stand on gay marriages and the reporter reports it.

Here is my challenge to Obama. Get in front of a white evangelical congregation and berate the church on its fanning the hatred toward gays and lesbians. Let me see him do that in equal measure, like he did at the black church.

Sorry, but this was again a 700 club intent prop him up as better tah Hillary whom they fear.
