    You write:

"What do you think, at this point, differentiates Senator Clinton's campaign from the Rove playbook? Repeating distortions over and over again until people think they're true? Check. Trying to swiftboat Obama at his point of greatest strength (opposition to the Iraq war)? Check. Sending out brazenly false mailers on abortion and taxes? Check. Painting the candidate as a flip-flopper based on out-of-context Senate votes? Check. Indulging in union-busting rhetoric when useful? Check. Wallowing in the politics of fear? Check. Encouraging wedge divisiveness by rather blatantly playing the race card? Check. Voter suppression? Check. Chain e-mail smears and robocalls? Check."

Did any of the mailers or emails smears you mention, or got, really sent out by the Clinton campaign? I think not. They would have been roasted by the media in a nano second, if the Clinton hating media had gotten a whiff of this kind of "swift boating." I too got a horrific email on Obama's religious affiliations to Islam and his connections to Al Qaeda to which I promptly berated everyone on the email list for indulging in this type of distortion. This email certainly did not come from the Clinton camp and blaming them for this kind of right wing nastiness is just another form of Clinton hating if your candidate is not up to snuff.

Here is what I found so irritating about Obama. When asked in a previous debate about this email and his religious belief, Obama was not adult enough to take a stand on respecting ALL religions. Instead, he answered flatly "I am a christian." So much for bringing disparate people together to bring unity to this country.

Hillary is not a union buster. I don't know where you get that from. Much of what you have stated is misinformation.

Just for your information, I was an Obama supporter, but my primary vote is going for Edwards. At least he is bringing more bread a butter issues to the table. Obama is getting hoisted by his own petard, flying too close to the sun, and you know what is going to happen.

I too do not believe in dynastic rule - think of Indira Gandhi being daughter of Nehru, Benazir Bhutto laying claim to bring Pakistan democracy was daughter of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Corizan Aquino became head of state after her husband got assassinated and so this cult of name and personality goes on and on.

On that principle, I will vote for Edwards in the primaries. But Hillary will get nominated. Edwards is a short timer and Obama has more rhetoric than substance. In my opinion, Hillary is a far better choice than McCain. The Democratic party must unite for the general elections. If not we will have a 100 years war in Iraq and all the ones who do not vote for Hillary, will find some short term satisfaction and long term grief.

    State Package for Hillary Clinton

You may write me down in history

    With your bitter, twisted lies,

You may tread me in the very dirt

But still, like dust, I'll rise.

This is not the first time you have seen Hillary Clinton seemingly at her wits' end, but she has always risen, always risen, don't forget she has always risen, much to the dismay of her adversaries and the delight of her friends.

Hillary Clinton will not give up on you and all she asks of you is that you do not give up on her.

There is a world of difference between being a woman and being an old female. If you're born a girl, grow up, and live long enough, you can become an old female. But to become a woman is a serious matter. A woman takes responsibility for the time she takes up and the space she occupies. Hillary Clinton is a woman. She has been there and done that and has still risen. She is in this race for the long haul. She intends to make a difference in our country. Hillary Clinton intends to help our country to be what it can become.

She declares she wants to see more smiles in the family, more courtesies between men and women, more honesty in the marketplace. She is the prayer of every woman and man who longs for fair play, healthy families, good schools, and a balanced economy.

    She means to rise.

Don't give up on Hillary. In fact, if you help her to rise, you will rise with her and help her make this country the wonderful, wonderful place where every man and every woman can live freely without sanctimonious piety and without crippling fear.

    Rise, Hillary.

    Rise.

So what's so wrong with being a Muslim? Puhleeze. I am already sick to my stomach on Obama good, everyone else out to get him. If her cannot stand up to the slings and arrows in the primaries, how the hell is he going to stand up to the ruthless republicans? Give me a break. I am not voting for Clinton, but enough of this already. Obama is a johnny come lately who is too raw to run for president. Charm and arrogance alone does not get you to the white house.

so the country is not ready for a muslim. same argument that the country is not ready for a woman or an african american. if he is so inclusive and is a uniter not a divider, he should have been adult enough to proclaim that he had respect for ALL faiths and not have given a flat "Iam christian." He panders to the right and panders to the middle. Is he a progressive? NOT.
