Down Right Dirty Shame
[Read the article: The war president "at peace" with himself]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]That "We The People" allow this court jester to stand in as our leader with all the ways he's failed us, sends shivers down my spine. Even today, we've heard how our military (with orders from above) shot and killed random and innocent Iraqi people and then set it up to look like they were "terrorist" by putting guns, trip wire, and other suspicious supplies on their dead bodied to justify it, just makes me sick.
Apparently, the Republicans think it's ok to spend hundreds of billions on things like this failed war but will not fund insurance for our less fortunate children in the U.S.A. A down right dirty shame.

Depends on which Network you watched
[Read the article: TV Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I was appalled at the terrible coverage by CBS of the parade. However, once I tuned in to NBC and saw their coverage, it was much more enjoyable.
CBS blocked the parade with blabbering host and their own parade of CBS stars full of self promotion and more blabbering. When CBS finally would break away from their close ups of thier host (mostly the parade ran in their background) to go down to a marching band...they allowed their host to talk full volume all the way through the 6 second)shots and actually muted the marching band. Unbelievable! And, I've never seen so many commercial breaks during a special. Basically, CBS was milking this parade, whereas NBC got you upfront, close and gave veiwers a good over all look at it. I enjoyed it, once I discovered the NBC was covering it. I don't watch a lot of TV so it was news to me that NBC was the main station to watch.

Charles Atlas is Still Alive!
[Read the article: Charles Atlas will make a man of you!]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Yes, I realize the subject rings of a tag line on an old movie poster..but he is, in fact, still kicking!
I think he is past 100 now and apparently still in good shape. So I guess he really does have something to teach us.
