Wow
[Read the article: My girlfriend's stepfather is a real a-hole ... and a dying man]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Seriously, that was just perfect. I've been there and done that - and the LW should follow Cary's advice to the letter. It's all good.

How to lose a friend
[Read the article: My close friend has clammed up]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I had a friend once who said the same kind of line, if you were really my friend you'd tell me everything; if you were really my friend you'd have invited me over for that gathering; if you were really my friend you would have....etc.
In my opinion, once somebody gets to the point where they have to spell out what you have to do to remain their friend - they aren't really your friend anymore.
The woman made the mistake of letting it slip that she was in a relationship and the LW not only won't let it go but started spreading it around even after "her friend" made it clear she didn't want to discuss it. The LW is not that woman's friend already, but not for the reason the LW thinks.

more details from latest attack
[Read the article: Pit bulls are innocent]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]http://www.kirotv.com/news/13951853/detail.html
This happened this week here in Tacoma WA. The dogs involved were "loving pets." Now I'm not saying that a cocker spaniel or lab might not also bite somebody - but has anyone heard of a cocker attack with the ferocity of these pits as described by the survivor?
