When reflecting on the literature of the Southwest, New Mexico in particular, it is virtually criminal to overlook Frank Waters & Rudolfo Anaya. The prolific Waters wrote "The Woman at Otowi Crossing," a novel about Native American spirituality, change, and the The Manhattan Project at Los Alamos. Mr. Anaya tells of the changing life in the life & times of New Mexico, it's land & people.

  • Ally is Back

Well, I have to agree. This is truly a fantasy family. Perhaps, at least, the writers will use the election results to "kick-up" up the humor. And Ally is back. She surfaces everytime Ms. Flockhart's character interacts with a man. The most realistic relationship is the one between the gay lawyer and his--what else--table-waiting boyfreind. Still, having said all that, it is a fun way to waste an hour.

When did it become OK for our elected, and often appointed, officials legislate what we eat? The land of the not-quite-free and the home of BIG BROTHER. While I understand that if I treat my body badly it will breakdown quicker and that could translate to higher insurance, hospitalization, and medical costs for the larger society. Collectives are collectives, in part, for just that reason; to spread out certain costs and to support each other.

It is another tentacle on Medusa's crown of political correctness. Soon we will live in a country filled with people running around in hermetically sealed bubbles and speaking via computers that edit our speech so that our speech cannot offend anyone.

And don't get me started on Chicago and Fois Gras.

Kudos for having journalistic integrity. Not to mention a measure of !cajones! In my opinion, Breathed has got a great sense of the ridiculous and that scares the hell out of the conservative journalistic machine.

Seems just that a hypocrite like Craig, and his ilk, should be caught in the webs that they spin. Nasty spiders entrapping other nasty spiders.
