Along with combating the "homosexual agenda" one of the bigger issues for the Republics is preserving the family. Well, isn't it peculiar that their candidates include:

Rudy Giuliani~ 3 marriages/2 divorces

John McCain~ 2 marriages/1 divorce

Fred Thompson~ 2 marriages/1 divorce

Newt Gingrich~ 3 marriages/2 divorces (one wife was served divorce papers in the hospital just out of recovery after breast cancer surgery).

Mitt Romney~ 1 marriage but he belongs to a church that teaches plural marriage (even if they don't practice it, it's still a church doctrine) and whose grandparents moved to Mexico to avoid arrest for polygamy.

And then there is Ronald Reagan, "our" only divorced and remarried President.

Not a great track record is it?.

Are Douglas Moran and I the only ones who picked up the Hummer reference? For all sorts of medical reasons I need to get my protein from animals, but even if I didn't I'd still be a meat eater. It may be a vice but it's my vice (much like PETA's need for a Hummer). I accept the fact that I am part of the problem and will be until the smoke clears from my cremation. That doesn't excuse me from trying to make a differance BUT it does excuse me from self righteous indignation.

isn't that he has a wide stance, or that he makes respectable, Idahoan gay men (like me) look like real doofeses. My problem is how he handled the whole situation. His arrest was entrapment BUT his response was really, really stupid. To think this man/jerk makes up 1% of the Senate is really pathetic. My gawd, he makes laws for the rest of us!

Like many liberals I really hope he doesn't resign, maybe if he runs for re-election we can gain another liberal or at least intellegent senator

Now comeon boys and girls let's play nice. Mitt and Ann are hardly my kinda people but we can't blame the Mormon Church for their, shall I say it, idiocy. Remember... Harry Reid is also a Mormon. No Mitt is a quirk unto himself and Ann, well Ann is HIS wife!
