The scandals under Clinton lead to a backlash which put Bush in power.
To hear the democrats crow about Clinton is amusing to those who were there.

I would look askew at anyone who has more than 2 posts for an article. They are either retired or bored. Actually, retired people have a lot of other stuff they are doing. So, bored.

2) Obama went to a madrassa.
3) Obama is praising republican ideas.
4) Obama has no experience in government.
5) Obama doesn't salute the american flag.
I could go on. But I think you can see why Obama supporters are a little sensitive. They need to be.

He claims to be against the war, but doesn't have a strong voting record against the war. He voted mostly to provide more war funding.
He hasn't brought up environmental issues such as global warming. I don't see a strong enough energy plan there.
In terms of rescuing the US from its economic straights, I don't see dumping some taxpayer money as a good solution.

Enough already. The media already killed two qualified dem candidates with their garbage. Gore (he's too boring, and he says he invented the INTERNET!). Kerry (his wife is rich, he likes windsurfing, what's this about swiftboats?)
Do you now realize that people are just lying to pollsters, because they see how the polls are used by the media to manipulate public opinion?

We must combat the martians, golldarnit!!
It is amazing what we were able to accomplish during WWII because we were motivated, organized, and faced an existential threat.
Global warming, and our dependence on hydrocarbons, is a similar threat.
But our brains are not able to process it. We have not been able to humanize it. We do not have leaders who have the grasp of our destiny as a species.
It is humbling to be a human on the planet nowadays. I believe we are now determining our future, in a way never before seen. Many are now feeling this way.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]And I don't mean the Palestinians. I mean the Arab world in general, which uses Palestine as a political cause when it suits their goals.
Even in the US, you don't see Arabs organizing or placing any political pressure on the US. They don't seem to care. I'm not sure why. Maybe they are just afraid.
Most people with knowledge of the middle east know that governments such as Egypt's are not democracies, and are influenced by the US. We support Iraq when they are fighting Iran, then we invade them and destroy them. We support a country like Pakistan which cannot pretend to be a democracy. And we hand out weapons to everyone like they are candy.
But anyone who thinks that Israel is completely blameless has been brainwashed.

Its kinda nice when an old guy like McCain can still land some shots, even if some are low blows.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]People who want to blame Bush for everything do so to deny their own responsibility. Often, these people don't investigate the issues, don't write letters, don't donate money to progressive causes, don't speak out.
They don't understand the three branches of government, that congress is not there just to do the bidding of the president.
And they also don't hold the media responsible for distorting reality.
The dems will need to have a much harder edge if they want to change things now, but they don't.
That's why I'm not a dem. I may support dems but I will never be one. Because it requires me to become a wimp.

Also, the Chinese are really bad. They bind women's feet up. And also they put lead in children's toys.
The Irish are terrorists, with their IRA movement. Also Germans are bad. Remember Hitler, and the Holocaust? Makes you wonder what they are planning now.
I don't want to leave out the Jews. Remember how they killed Jesus? They never apologized either.
Iran is really bad. They are building a lot of atomic bombs, to bomb Israel.
How could I forget the damn Japs? I guess they are ok now, we killed off the bad ones with atomic bombs.
Remember, U.S. weapons only kill bad people. That is how we are making the world a better place :-)
