Can we get a picture maybe?
[Read the article: Controversy brewing over King statue]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]What do I think about the statue? I don't know. I don't know what it looks like. I even watched the video hoping to see it. How about a picture... the internet is great for that.

No Choice Was Perfect, but I Like the Pick
[Read the article: It's Biden]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Foreign policy experience, working class credentials, and the perception of being a straight talker (occasionally too much so) are all good qualities that compliment Obama well.
Probably less obvious but equally important is that Biden does not seem to take himself too seriously. I think a healthy self deprecating sense of humor has always been lacking from Obama's image. Biden should help with that.

Ted Knight's character from Caddyshack
[Read the article: McCain's last stand]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]As I watched McCain tonight I just couldn't stop thinking of Ted Knight's character from the movie Caddyshack. Judge Smails, the stuffy, fuming old country club founder just can't stand that the young whippersnapper riff-raff is making him look foolish.

Obama was smooth and solid. McCain was old and angry. I'm still expecting an October surprise, or perhaps an eVoting November surprise, but unless one of them occurs, this election really should be over.

The Redskins prediction accuracy...
[Read the article: Will the Washington Redskins predict the election?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]... stopped working when electronic voting machines appeared. Now that's a confluence.

It's not just the calls that are made...
[Read the article: Bad ending? You bet]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]... it's the calls that aren't. It's easy to point to a bad call and notice that it favors one team. But the more stealthy way to fix a game is for the officials to NOT call stuff.
How many times when the average fan watches a game does he say "Hey, over in the corner of the screen... there's a holding call. And no one's calling it!"
And you can't challenge with instant replay to get a non-call to materialize. I hate that I'm this cynical, but it's really pretty easy to fix a football game without many people noticing.
