Salon is Full of Hate, . . . so please drop the pretense to the contrary
[Read the article: Dan Balz's corrupted journalistic "balance"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]”Quote some of these "hate-filled letters" for us. It'll be interesting to see what you consider "hate".” - Iokannan in the Well
Ok Inky, since you and others have asked. But first I want to clarify a few points before you speculate about where I’m coming from, or try to re-juggle your beliefs so as to win the current argument (as is typical of a liberal)
1. I am not of the opinion that Salon should limit posts, such as I highlight here.
2. I could care less what some of you think of me. . . . Water off a duck’s back.
3. My post last night was meant to address;
A. The lack of concern over hate filled speech at Salon, when it emanates from left-leaning salonistas. Glenn portrayed Republicans as emotionally driven zealots. Evidence below demonstrates similar behavior on the left. Given the sexism from Salon’s staff, and the hate in salon’s letters, Glenn is standing on thin ice. His argument lacks integrity.
B. Many of the pieces published by Salon appeal to one’s emotions. Their base emotions. Blumenthal was a “master” at this this. I have no sympathy for Glenn’s suggestion that this tactic is unique to Republicans. Scan the blumenthal archives if you doubt this.

”I'd also prefer it if it had been your head on the block rather than Anne Boleyn's on 19 May 1536, but we can't have everything can we?” - Iokannan in the Well

”Bush was playing politics, plain and simple and both he and you should burn in hell for playing politics with a national disaster.
I hope you rot. You're a f@*#!^~ d@^@#~bag.” - Jebbie

Cheney escapes bomb attack
”A perfect bomb plot would not kill Cheney outright. It would first maim or dismember him and then deny him adequate medical care for weeks or months while he writhed in pain and his family lost all his pension benefits.
And Bush wouldn't bother to attend the funeral. And no troops would attend Cheney's funeral either. Thanks to him, they have other priorities.” - Holly B
”TOO BAD!!” – philulm
”Still, it would have been nice if Cheney had gotten, oh, say, a little shrapnel in his face. ” - Susan Wood
”Too bad they missed the fat little coward. ” - johnnyk
”With the 90% of the civilized world's population, including in his own country, wanting him dead for criminally evil greediness and causing the deaths, and future deaths of hundreds of thousands, it seems highly likely that eventually, one or a few of those people are going to succeed. A toast to that guy. Is dick on http://deadpool.rotten.com/ yet? Bets are 50/50 he's killed or dies from wretched heart trouble. ” - Lana

@umbrage
[Read the article: Dan Balz's corrupted journalistic "balance"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Agreed, with most every point.
One exception, I do not believe that McCainPalin are fostering hatred.
Are they saying things that some people don't like? Yes, obviously.
Give examples of McCainPalin statements that foment hatred, define your standard. . . and then I'm sure that I can find examples on the left that meet the same standard.

An eating lesson from Joe Biden

Biden funnels campaign donations to his family:

This issue is far more serious than the one pointed out by Alex Koppelman.

A "how-to-be-stupid" lesson from Joe Biden
[Read the article: A geography lesson from Sarah Palin]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Referring to the VP debate:
"Biden: When we kicked — along with France, we kicked Hezbollah out of Lebanon, I said, and Barack said, ‘Move NATO forces in there. Fill the vacuum, because if you don’t know — if you don’t, Hezbollah will control it.”
Reuters thinks he meant to refer to Syria, but I still don't think it would be accurate to say the U.S. kicked Syria out of Lebanon. The Lebanese kicked Syria out of Lebanon."

@Fell off your pony and bumped your head.
[Read the article: A geography lesson from Sarah Palin]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]So, you don't believe that the Washington Times actually read the disclosure forms filed by biden's campaign?
I can't say I blame you, I don't believe Dan Rather.
There is however, a left leaning media bias, as evidenced by biden's multiple errorsliesdistortions in the VP debate.
Gov. Palin was ridiculed for asking for clarification of the term "Bush Doctrine", yet during the debate, look what biden said:
http://campaignspot.nationalreview.com/post/?q=ZTVhMThlNjRkZGFlMmUwOWFkNDZkZjk0MzBiY2JiYmY=
The uneven response from the media to these two events demonstrates, once again, a clear liberal media bias.

There are many more similar stories, particularly about acorn.
Is this yet another example of "dismantling the constitution"?

I guess there's only so much constitution protecting you can do. If your side is doing it, forget about it.
