A Maddening Flock of Dodo Birds
[Read the article: Hurricane Bristol hits Minnesota]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You read the letters here, and it's clear that our public education system has failed.
Bone-headed morons, continuing to speculate that Trig is not the child of Sarah Palin, despite the fact that those morons rely on salon to understand their world, and salon has essentially dispelled the "Trig is NOT Sarah Palin's child" rumor.
The daily kos rumor, the latest in a string of lies, is idiotic and hate-filled.
Pure hate. From the party that cares....HA!

Hey Glenn! Ever write about Elian?
[Read the article: Scenes from St. Paul -- Democracy Now's Amy Goodman arrested]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Dear Glenn,
I read your "Scenes from St. Paul" posts, and it reminded me of when clinton ordered the heavily armed border patrol to smash in the door of the home where Elian Gonzalez was living, tear him away from his relatives (while pointing an MP5 sub-machine gun towards him), and did their best to prevent the press from taking pictures of the event.
All of this was done under a dubious search warrant.
I was wondering glenn, did you write about? I couldn't find a link.

Who really cares about your PRIVACY?
[Read the article: Scenes from St. Paul -- Democracy Now's Amy Goodman arrested]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Hey glenn, I was wondering if you were outraged at another example of the dismantling of our constitution.
The democrats released Sarah Palins SSN.
Can we trust them to treat us any better?

Aunt Bee and Thinking Like Gomer
[Read the article: Who wants to see Sarah Palin as the next president?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]1) Salon needs a new picture of garrison. The one that is used makes him look like Aunt Bee.
2) Garrison suggests that Sarah Palin isn't up to the job of VP, then moves to a discussion of Al Franken's run for the senate seat in Minnesota. Garrison's logical leaps (Palin is unqualified, Franken is) reminded me of Gomer Pyle, which caused me to recognize garrison's resemblance of Aunt Bee.

Welcome to Change that Matters
[Read the article: Welcome to John McCain's party]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Why should the voters, worried about the economy and weary of war, reward the party of George W. Bush with another four years in the White House?"
Voters rewarded the democrats in the '06 elections. Look what we've got;
1. Congressional approval ratings below Bush's.
2. Whining and complaining from pelosi and "this war is lost and cannot be won" reid.
3. democrat william jefferson, who tried to hide $90k in his freezer in office, still holds office...all the democrat leadership did was take a committee away from him.
I suspect a lot of people want change in the attitude of their leaders, as much as they want a change in policy.
Politicians who are in the game for the sake of themselves are not what people want. John McCain didn't rot in a prison cell, years longer than he needed to, in order to improve his own lot in life.

@minnesinger5
[Read the article: Who wants to see Sarah Palin as the next president?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]You suggest in your recent post that it is fair for Garrison to take shots at Palin, yet support franken for the senate, even though franken has no experience.
It was funny (and typical of a liberal) to read your reasoning as to why it's ok for Garrison to knock Palin for inexperience, but gloss over the topic, as it relates to franken.
Lets take your premise, the job of US Senator is not such a big deal, and apply it to the democratic ticket....Two Senators.
The democractic ticket has two guys whose biggest achievement is the US Senate. A job that even a 2nd tier over-the-hill comedian could perform.

Liberal Bias - Documented, this is just one of many examples
[Read the article: Sarah Palin and Mark Halperin's complaints of "liberal media"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"The very notion of the "Liberal Media" is one of the most inane myths in American politics." - Glenn Greenwald
"An analysis of federal records shows that the amount of money journalists contributed so far this election cycle favors Democrats by a 15:1 ratio over Republicans, with $225,563 going to Democrats, only $16,298 to Republicans ." - Investors Business Daily - July, '08

Glenn, it's not a myth. What cockamamie argument are you going to use to spin away this evidence?

Pipeline
[Read the article: Sarah Palin and Mark Halperin's complaints of "liberal media"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]obama's energy plan calls for the development of an Alaskan pipeline, to increase the supply of natural gas to the lower 48.
Perfect example of obama striking a pose, vs. Sarah Palin, getting the job done.
Read it yourself.
Obama's energy plan, p.6:
http://www.barackobama.com/pdf/factsheet_energy_speech_080308.pdf
In the same plan, you will learn about obama's desire to increase drilling, and build more nuclear power plants.
Sarah Palin is miles ahead of him.

@Ink In the Well
[Read the article: Sarah Palin and Mark Halperin's complaints of "liberal media"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"Funny, in all the material I've seen concerning Governor Palin's time in office, I see nothing about her laying any new pipeline nor improving the output of the existing infrastructure." - inky
obama stated in his energy plan, that he thinks the Alaskan pipeline should be built. The proposed pipeline would carry natural gas.
As Governor of Alaska, Palin has done a lot of work to make this happen, to get the job done. It's a long process, but it's on track.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2072870/posts
I've provided a specific example of how Sarah Palin has worked to solve a problem (one that obama said needs to be solved).
Try documenting legislative accomplishments by obama.

[Read the article: Sarah Palin and Mark Halperin's complaints of "liberal media"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Thanks for the link re. US Special Forces operating in Pakistan.
What I don't understand is; why do you give credit to Nixon?
After all, this operation is exactly what obama has previously suggested. I guess Bush is listening.

Liberal Ditto-head
[Read the article: Sarah Palin and Mark Halperin's complaints of "liberal media"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"I am one of Glenn's soldiers..." - Retired Military Patriot
Spoken like a true liberal ditto-head,...wait, I thought liberals were smarter than the rest, and could think on their own.
Now I know better.

Textbook Projection
[Read the article: The GOP's cheerful viciousness]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"blinded by cultural tribalism and personality appeals" - Glenn Greenwald.
This was funny, upon the first read, but caused concern after I thought about it.
As shooter242 documented, examples of cultural tribalism are rampant among the salonistas.
Glenn, you're projecting.
