I wish you'd look at his tactics as a prosecutor
[Read the article: Misadventures in logical reasoning -- and lessons learned from the Spitzer scandal]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Glenn,
I wish you would look with an unbiased eye, at the tactics used by spitzer when he was a prosecutor.
Spitzer investigated the private sex lives of people, in order to pressure them, and advance his personal carreer. Although the original reason for spitzer's pursuit had nothing to do with sex, he would use any weapon available.
The investigation of Dick Grasso is an example of this.
If I understand your opinion columns, you would deplore that.
In my opinion, an example of a "misadventure in logical reasoning" is the defense of spitzer on the grounds that his sex life is nobody else's business, . . . yet a total ommision of the fact that he used those tactics as a prosecutor.
My point is not one of hypocrisy over attitudes toward prostitution, but attitudes towards justice. If spitzer was on your tail, you were not going to get a fair shake.

Glenn - Re-read your column about reasoned arguments - spitzer
[Read the article: One of Instapundit's favorite blogs speaks on race]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]First you equate instapunk with Rush Limbaugh. That is more than a stretch.
Then you complain the Tim Russert asks Obama to address the comments of Belafonte.
You did what Russert did, only worse.

Primary Elections - Example of Democrat's Incompetence
[Read the article: The Democrats' anti-momentum]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"the weird science of the Democratic primary system" - You got that right.
This weird science was authored by Democrats.
They have proven that they cannot govern themselves.
Why would you trust them to govern all of us?
Vote Nader. Repeal NAFTA. Repeal PNTR - China.

[Read the article: The Democrats' anti-momentum]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]How to fix your problem (2 options)
1) Put a Republican in charge of creating the rules for primary elections of Democrat presidential hopefuls. The democrats have obviously failed to create fair rules, you might as well try a Republican.
2) Vote Nader, if you really want change. On the other hand, if you like the way that democrats have abandoned hard working, blue collar, union members, by enacting NAFTA and giving Permanent Normalized Trade Relations to china, stick with billary or obama. WalMart loves the cheap products (formerly made by Americans) for their shelves.
Billary shafted middle and lower-middle class workers with NAFTA and PNTR. . . .

Dirty Tricks Are Not Necessary
[Read the article: The GOP attack plan for Hillary Clinton]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]"They'll say Clinton will do or say anything to win, and that she can't be trusted"
And they won't have to work very hard to prove it.
hillary's ridiculous claim about Bosnia and sniper fire, which she now explains as having "mispoke" is one of many examples that confirm the statement above.
The Bosnia comment wasn't a matter of mis-speaking. It was a lie. hillary's explanation that it was a matter of mis-speaking, is a second lie.
Why would someone tell such lies? She wants to win.
If hillary's mind believes the story is true, she has psychological problems. If she knows it to be false, she confirms the statement above.

Obama Appeals to the Sickened
[Read the article: The GOP attack plan for Hillary Clinton]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Listening to people (salon letter writers) drop their sense of right and wrong, selectively apply their principles, as they make arguments for or against their candidate, . . . is amusing.
Listening to actual presidential candidates do the same thing, . . . is depressing. It makes you sick.
Obama's message that he will rise above this type of behavior is appealing. Whether or not Obama's claim is legitimate, it's clear that people like that message.
He has nearly defeated the front runner, the shoe-in, the smartest woman in America, because of that message. Voters don't like the lies being set at our table ("Bosnia sniper fire", give me a break).
The longer this goes on, the more that billary's approval will sink. Bill and Hillary are both sinking, as their individual favorability polls indicate. It's the raw data, the facts, their actions, that will sink them, not a Republican slime machine.
That wasn't Karl Rove telling the story on how he dragged his daughter through sniper fire in Bosnia.

To each their own.
[Read the article: I Like to Watch]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Heather should stick to the Lifetime network, if inter-personal relationships are all she cares about.
In addition to that, Lost offers; time travel, mystery, unexplained phenomona, corporate greed, espionage, life after death? and much, much more. It's engaging. It makes you think, if you're up to it.
I can't think of anything on TV like it, which in itself is refreshing.
So much more than Girl-Boy relationships.

Limbaugh's a Liar?
[Read the article: Limbaugh off the hook for voter fraud ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Can the AG back up his "liar" claim?
Since Limbaugh is a public figure, does that make the AG immune from a libel lawsuit?
Can we get some evidence of Limbaugh Lies? (you know, like the video disproving billary's claim that she was under sniper fire in Bosnia).

lolcait Proves Obama Lies Like Clinton
[Read the article: Barack Obama, working-class hero?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]See p.1 of the letters (oldest first) for lolcait's posts.
I knew billary lied through their teeth. Repeatedly.
I gave Obama the benefit of the doubt.
According to lolcait, I shouldn't.
Nader?

Looks like Glenn is following Ann Coulter's lead, hoping to bring home some Coulter size money.
