  • Obama Got Robbed

[Read the article: Quote of the day: Obama on Clinton ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

Turns out that Obama got zero votes in Harlem, during the recent NY primary.

billary represent NY in the senate.

These are democratic primaries, whose elections are run by democrats.

    billary's fault?

    cheney's fault?

democrats don't know how to vote?

    Anybody but billary.

"Voting irregularities don't just work in one direction."

Name one democrat who felt that way in November, 2000.

  • Hey billary backers, Take Pride In This!

[Read the article: Bowling for votes in Wisconsin]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

According to a senior clinton official, "All the rules will be going out the window".

In the article linked below, they state that pledged delegates are really not pledged at all...so much for your vote.

That's how the clintons play. They will do anything to win.

...and you thought Dick Cheney was Darth Vader.

  • Why shouldn't a democract in South Florida succeed?

[Read the article: Can a Cuban Democrat win in South Florida?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

After all, it was a democrat who started the embargo. But then, JFK did a lot of stuff that Republicans can admire.

    fidel castro is despicable.

  • Castro's Biggest Mistake - So Many to Choose From

[Read the article: Can a Cuban Democrat win in South Florida?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

castro, the evil, corrupt, freedom hating skunk, made his biggest mistake when he pointed nuclear tipped soviet missiles at the US.

JFK's biggest accomplishment, was getting castro and his soviet masters, to back down.

JFK, the democrat, instituted the embargo against cuba. Too bad more democratic politician's don't emulate JFK. They would represent South Florida well.

But I'd agree that castro has a whole bunch of "mistakes" that we can talk about. Of course, "mistake" is not the word I would use to describe castro's atrocities. Castro's "mistake list" is incredibly long.

  • Why Bureaucracies Suck – Especially When Run by Democrats

[Read the article: A non-paranoid's guide to superdelegates]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

    Cases in Point:

Walt states; “as though there is something undemocratic about letting elected members of Congress and elected party officials vote on the convention floor”. . . Is it democratic for a single vote by a superdelegate to equal the votes of thousands of common citizens? I guess it is, in the minds of the democrats who created those rules.

More Walt; “Democratic Party rules, however, have eliminated any sort of bound delegates, since even those selected in primaries and caucuses are theoretically free to exercise independent judgment at the convention.” . . . so now all the votes by common citizens can be discounted? Votes by common citizens don’t matter, if the delegates choose to ignore them? Reflect upon your reaction to the 2000 election when you think about this rule. It is a preposterous rule. . . . A democrat made it up.

Bruce Braley - Iowa Congressman; “just like I vote in Washington, I don't abdicate that responsibility totally to my constituents.” . . . Brilliant bruce. I thought this was an election, where the citizens of our nation elect their leader, rather than a congressional vote. Either I have it wrong, or there is a $#!+ pot of civics textbooks that need to be rewritten.

Elaine Kamarck - Harvard; “The only way that the superdelegates really will come into play is in a situation where it can be argued that for some reason the voters did not decide -- and they essentially produced a tie. The definition of that tie can be all over the place.” . . . Superdelegates come into play when there’s a tie. A tie is undefined. . . . In case you didn’t aready know this, DON’T SEND YOUR KIDS TO HARVARD!

This article expresses better than I ever could, why I do not want democrats creating the rules I have to live by.

    They don’t know how.

  • The Last Refuge

[Read the article: The dude vote]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

"Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel." - Samuel Johnson, 1770's.

That might have been true, then. Today, racism and sexism are more likely to be the last refuge of a scoundrel. As is exmplified in this column.

According to the author, hillary's poor showing is the fault of men, . . . because they are men.

The people who need to suck it up are the ones that keep getting their @$$ kicked in primary after primary, poll after poll.

Or does your gender make you smarter than all the rest of us?

  • Who's Pressuring William Jefferson to Resign?

[Read the article: Renzi won't resign]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

This is the guy with $90,000 in the freezer.

    Under federal indictment.

    FBI has video tapes.

What democrats are demanding that he resign?

[Read the article: Renzi won't resign]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

You got half way there. pelosi asked william "cash in the freezer" jefferson, to resign from a committee, not from the house of reps (which she leads, and which has a lower approval rating than Bush).

nancy ought to push him to resign from his house seat.

For those of you with limited vision, the following Republicans have resigned (often for problems less severe than Freezer Boy's); Mark Foley, Newt Gingrich, Richard Nixon, and Tom Delay. There's more.

I'd like Larry Craig to resign, if for no other reason than if he's too dumb to know how to plead to a criminal charge against him, he's too dumb to be writing our laws.

    Thanks for the Support.

Your post acknowledges that many Republicans have resigned following unethical behavior.

From armchairsubversive it is clear that a number of Republicans resigned, committed suicide and turned themselves into the police. Your commondreams link does more of the same.

    I say good riddance.

Thanks for proving Strangely_enough, Anonymous (9:06 AM), and FreeProton wrong. Wrong in the sense that Republicans never accept responsibility.

I'm still waiting for an answer as to what democrate is asking freezer boy to resign.

  • STAY IN UNTIL THE END!

[Read the article: Should Hillary Clinton drop out?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

I think its good for democrats to watch billary in this campaign. There have been numerous instances when Obama supporters have repeated the charges against billary, as were expressed by Republicans when the first billary was president.

The Obama supporters see the light, and that's good.

The longer she stays in, the more damage she does to herself.

    Go all the way baby.

  • What about Nader?

[Read the article: Should Hillary Clinton drop out?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]

billary should stay in the race. You should continue to bicker. And then you should vote for Ralph Nader, who most closely resembles a true salonista.
