Why Obama got all Christian in his campaign
[Read the article: Obama's surge extends down the Potomac]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I'm not saying that Obama's faith is shenanigans, but as has been pointed out throughout his campaign, there's been an email circulating via email, reposted in it's entirety on MSM comments section, saying that he's a muslim, he wants american to become African, and that he refused to be sworn in on the bible and insisted he use the Koran.
Lies of course. I said in an earlier post on another thread that Southern Christians(and I'm not talking necessarily about Evangelicals, I'm talking about regular Southern Baptists), even democratic ones, even black democratic ones, won't vote for someone who isn't a Christian. They won't vote for anyone whose anyway connected to Islam.
The man of faith, those fliers of him praying in South Carolina, was a calculated move dispel the internet rumours which have been talking points in this area. His name, his Nigerian(?) father, his "blackness" are all liabilities on the campaign trail in the South. And don't get me started on the fact he's pro-choice. I think his Christian rhetoric showed a real ability to try to forestall any comments about his supposed Un-Christianness without out and out responding (and thereby giving those assholes out of context quotes to use in new email attacks) to this smears. (Not that being a Muslim is a smear...but whatever.)

I knew he was Kenyan...why did I think it was Nigeria?
[Read the article: Obama's surge extends down the Potomac]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Oops...I apologize for the mistake. I don't know why I was thinking Nigeria. As soon as I looked back at the post I was like, ugh...I meant Kenya! You gotta give me credit though; at least I know African isn't a country, and can probably name most of the countries there.
Hopefully no Kenyans will get mad at me (it's like the time when I was a kid and called Spanish Mexican and had feel the wrath of our El Salvadoran housekeeper for my mistake.)
Boy is my face red...

[Read the article: Quote of the day: Obama on Clinton ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Now you're saying Obama is gay?
It's funny, because there have been some homophobic slurs thrown at Obama in this thread (calling him a punk comes to mind) and now we have you saying he had a down low encounter. Or that it's hopefully untrue. My god. Will you Hillarybots stop at nothing?
It's not like Hillary herself hasn't been at the center of a sex scandal.

[Read the article: Quote of the day: Obama on Clinton ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Of course you would say the charges were spurious, that way if anyone called you on your insinuations, you could say, but I don't want them to be right, I'm just spreading information.
What I found strange is that you didn't even link to the article you referenced, so I looked it up and even the Smoking Gun (not known for it's great reporting so much as just publishing court documents) thinks the guy is a kook:
"Ratcheting up the crazy, the Minnesota man who last month posted a YouTube video in which he claimed to have engaged in a sex-and-drugs party with Senator Barack Obama has filed a federal lawsuit against the presidential candidate and the Democratic party, charging that he is being subjected to a vicious slander campaign. Larry Sinclair contends that he has been unfairly targeted after surfacing last month with claims (entirely unsubstantiated, of course)...."
Here's the link:

This is the article detailing the guys lawsuit against the Obama campaign for slander.
I think you're just trying to link "down low" ( a term which I'm completely sick of hearing.) with Obama and hoping people don't actually do the research. LT Bohica, I don't pretend to know the inner workings of your mind, (I love how you said, I don't care if he's gay) but you can't tell me you didn't bring this up as a backhanded form of slander. Down low, of course, isn't the same as being gay since at it's core, it is an act of deception against your partner and your community.

[Read the article: Quote of the day: Obama on Clinton ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The conservatives (or possibly the Clinton camp, who knows) has also said:
1) Obama is a Muslim who won't swear on the bible.
2) Obama is a member of a black racist church that wants to turn America into Africa.
I'm really not surprised that there's a sex scandal. The problem is, ofcourse, proving it. And the other problem is did you see Mr. Sinclair? If that creepy minister in Denver could pull a hottie, I'd think Obama could at least get a good looking man with all of his teeth. I mean, c'mon. He's a Harvard lawyer! There's plenty of "Obamabots" (probably even back in 1999 who'd come under the spell of his charm) who'd be happy to service him. I guess maybe it was all that cocaine.
It's obvious though, that there is a whole group of people backing Sinclair, since he got a lawyer to take his slander case (nope) and since you said he's taking a polygraph test (where'd you read that.)
I'm allowed to be sick of the term, on the down low, just like I've gotten sick of a lot of different pop culture expressions in the past, and I really hope it's not here to stay. I hope someday that men in this country, black and white, jew and gentile, protestant and catholic, will be able to fuck each other without any sort of subterfuge...that will be a great day...
