It's not the question of whether or not we can see it (at least for me.) I don't care to spend my time researching the number of gay men who have MSRS (or whatever) vs. straight people. You are using these statistics to justify to yourself that anal sex is wrong and nasty and by extension gay men are wrong and nasty. You concede that straight people who engage in anal sex are nasty as well, so I'll give you that.

The fact is that if someone likes it up the ass, they aren't going to stop because you say it is risky. Do you propose that the government re-criminalize sodomy? If so, are you willing to pay the taxes to build the prisons to house all of the gay men (who will most likely be engaging in more gay sex there anyway and then still transmitting it into the population) and straight men and women, and lesbians with strap ons, who engage in the behavior? Should the police start peeking in private citizens windows to see if they are sticking tab A in the appropriate Slot B? Or would you rather people who do it up the butt just be killed?

In your opinion (based on your facts) anal sex is disgusting and dirty. Other people won't agree with you. So, basically, kufir don't have anal sex. The other folks who don't agree with you and like anal sex, will most likely have anal sex. Sexually transmitted diseases were just as deadly hundreds of years ago as they are today (and Syphillis made you crazy and disfigured!) so basically, I don't think you are going to make a big dent in human behavior by pointing out how dirty anal sex is. Heck, I'd take AIDS today over Syphillis in the 1700s.

Or, is this really about hating gay folks?

  • You can't get syphillis from Anal Sex?

I don't know Christopher. Are you sure?

I'm just asking. I agree with everything else you said though.

    You rock.

I thought I was the only person who liked the Village, but I didn't like Lady in the Water and not because of M. Night. who I didn't recognize for some reason. I couldn't figure out who the bad Indian actor was for the longest time. Then my brother and I were watching it again and I said, who is that guy, and he was all, you're an idiot. For some reason, he looked different to me. Better looking. Taller than I expected because I'd only seen him sitting down.

But It was the film critic I couldn't stand. Personally, I love Bob Balaban (at my old job I used to talk to him on the phone a lot and he was always really sweet) so any movie that turns a good actor like him into crappy one, deserves my scorn. I think M. Night should stop writing his own material. Wasn't he going to do Pi?

  • I Loved the Incredible Hulk Television show

It was an awesome show. No CG, no special effects, just Bill Bixby turning into Lou Ferigno. (Hey, deaf body builders gotta eat too!) The real question was, how much did Bruce Banner have to shell out in clothes? Every week he was busting through a perfectly good pair of shoes, jeans and a white button down shirt. The jeans always got shorter but he never busted out of those completely. I wonder if he's huge all over. Does the Hulk ever have sex in the comic books?

Anyway, I hated the Ang Lee movie and I suspect I will hate this movie because of the special effects. I don't know what it is with Marvel, but their Computer generated people always look so cartoonish and flat. The first Spiderman movie was like that; it was like animation mixed with live action. Which I just don't like (Who framed Roger Rabbit gave me nightmares as a child. Seriously.) I prefer my CG to at least try to look real; I realize this is more of a stylistic choice on the part of Marvel, rather than an inability to make Spiderman or the Hulk look real. I just don't like the style.

And you know what? Alan Keyes is a right bastard. According to the article, he allegedly kicked his lesbian daughter out of his house and cut off all financial support. Even Dick Cheney stands by his lesbian daughter and pretty much goes ballistic if you bring her up. DICK FUCKING CHENEY! THE DEVIL!

Though, I do have to say there is something vaguely homoerotic (for lack of a better term) about the Bush Administration, in my opinion. All that macho posturing and ties to ex gay porn stars, Dick Cheney's wife's badly written romance novel (conveniently out of print I believe) with alleged girl on girl action, Karl Rove, Karl Roves stepfather. I know everyone has a gay uncle, (named Aunt Tom, according to Chris Rock) but c'mon, it's like every one in the administration has some sort of connection to a "gay." Is it some sort of conspiracy or what? Are the gays really behind the neocon agenda? Are they planning on taking over the world!

I for one welcome are new gay overlords.

    But I digress:

    Duval Patrick rocks!
