John whatever
[Read the article: Going down with the Titanic?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I think you are misrepresenting Obama's comments about Pakistan. And you aren't really showing much of an understanding of the United States relationship with Pakistan. They are our allies in the war on Terror. Which is why our government was relunctant to say anything about Musharreff's power grab earlier in the year. However, now that his mini-coup failed, and with the assasination of Bhutto, the Parliament is actually more invested in fighting terrorism than ever before. Obama has said he wouldn't just bomb the country for no reason; if we had a chance, during a tactical strike (which we actually had during the Clinton presidency) to take out the leaders of Al Quaeda including Osama Bin Laden, I bet you the friggin Pakistani government would give us the bombs to drop and supply the troops to make sure nobody gets out of the cave alive. They have their own problems with fundamentalist Islam and their people have suffered for far longer from terrorist attacks than ours have.
That's what Obama was talking about; not just about bombing Pakistan for the heck of it.

I do have to say...
[Read the article: Fox News calls Michelle Obama "Obama's baby mama"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Obama's baby's mamma does have a certain poetry to it.
However, I don't think Fox was being particularly tone deaf or stupid. They want to remind all of their white viewers that Obama is black (just in case they forgot...he's a n-word, ya'll!)
They figure they can create anger between democrats who are rightly upset with the use of such terminology to describe their presumptive nominee's wife (it is disrespectful. I'm sorry, especially because it is inaccuarate. They didn't mean it to be nice) and republicans who are always crying about the so-called P.C. police and how white men can't go around calling a spade a spade (so to speak) anymore.
I don't agree with those on this site who are counselling Obama to boycott Fox. The truth is, as someone pointed out, Michelle has jokingly introduce Obama as her babys' daddy. They'll use that is justification for the Insert.
All any kind of direct attack from the Obama camp on FOX will do is to exacerbate the argument FOX wanted to start. I'm not saying he shouldn't respond to smears, or do the Kerry technique of believing he's above it all, but the fact is that he can't rise to all of the bait out there.
Better for him to say, yes she is the mother of my children, but she is also my wife and my partner and I wish everyone could know her because they would see she deserves the utmost respect.

Lisa
[Read the article: Finale wrap-up: "Top Chef"]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I think implying that Lisa was only an asshole because of Dale doesn't take into account her constant sour face at the judging table. She never took any criticism as being anything but a personal attack and I don't think she ever owned up to any of her mistakes. Like the friggin', someone turned my burner up brouhaha. I mean, I'm not a chef, but even I know you have to watch rice, especially when your cooking on a stove you aren't that familiar with. Didn't she use that as an execuse at the judging table too?
Personally, I think she purposefully choked on the challenge with Dale, Spike and her opening the restaurant because she knew the executive chef would be the one to go (Dale.) At least he, as someone said earlier, owned up when he made a mistake.
And when he came back last week, I really liked him, so I would say his atititude was more about Lisa rather than the other way around.
I know my love of Dale might have to do with the fact that I find him smoking hot, (he looks like the grown up version of my third grade crush.) whose name was Dale as well. Lisa looks like my evil ex-roommate who used to date stripper crack whores. So no slack from me!

Why is everyone so obsessed with Butt-sex?
[Read the article: Kiss my ass]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Sodomy, the legal definition if it, also includes cunnilingus and fellatio.
Kufir, what do you think about men and women who engage in anal sex? (It happens. Quite a bit. If I had a quarter for the number of times boyfriends of mine have tried to go up the ol' poop shoot I'd be, well not a millionare, but comfortable. Or uncomfortable if the guy actually managed to talk me into it.) What about Anal sex between a women wearing a strap on and a man? Is that a little better since only the ass is involved?
I'm just asking. You seem awfully obsessed with sex between men. Wouldn't it make sense to outlaw it among the straight as well? Women are just as supscetible to get AIDS during anal sex as gay men, I would think.

Express their Lust
[Read the article: Kiss my ass]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Wow, you made my day Kufir. Thank you. I suppose in your world two men could never actually love each other and express, I don't know, their love by having anal sex.
