[Read more letters about this article: Here]Yes, TomBrazil, we might be careful when hitting on other guy's Significant Others. However, a woman mentioning an existing boyfriend is just conversation. Every woman has a boyfriend, imaginary or otherwise. Saying otherwise can be a severe liability. One should push through such remarks. Continue 'hitting' until there is an actual "No." To do otherwise will simply disappoint both parties.
As a guy, I expect guys to hit on my SO. They'll get no violence from me. They get the "No" every time from her...I hope.

More energy in a gallon of diesel

[Read more letters about this article: Here]One additional factor may be that diesel has about 11% more energy per gallon than gasoline (Wikipedia: Diesel). So it should have always cost more, all else being equal.
I've recently bought diesel in Mexico for about $2.50 per gallon. That includes friendly delivery to my sailboat. Too bad the people of Mexico are burdened with a nationalized oil company....

Reworking mortgages

Surely congress can pass a law enabling this. Congress is about to set aside capitalism, risk and free markets for the good of society. Modifying the fine print in an investment deal is nothing compared to that. Or is congress now subordinate to both the executive branch AND corporate lawyers?
