Tell congress all about it
[Read the article: Two questions for Alberto Gonzales]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]If the DOJ can leak classified information to try and save Gonzales' sorry little ass .. , then they should be able to talk to congress and the American people about it.

Battle of Antietem, huh?
[Read the article: The end of TimesSelect?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Isn't that article headline about the Battle of Antietem what we should be hearing about our battles of Bahgdad? If you're making a point, well done.

This is confusing
[Read the article: Why Republicans back Ayad Allawi]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]This is confusing. Is our country's diplomatic effort with Iraq and its elected leader being led by a lobbying firm? Is it with the support, knowledge, encouragement, direction from Bush and his crew? If not, what the hell is going on that a lobbying firm can get mixed up in a situation so critical as our country's support of the elected leader of Iraq, where by the way, there's a war going on and Americans are being killed.
Also, Garry Trudeau has written about Ol' Duke's lobbying for another strongman. It seems ridiculous that life imitates art in the Iraq war.

Questioned by the People ?
[Read the article: "Outreach," the Bush administration way]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Citizen-X ... You're exactly right. What kind of sweet, evil deals are these people making with the new AG? Mukasey should be in front of all the people for these questions.

I don't like the new War Room
[Read the article: It's the network]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I don't like having to click again for the story. If you're going to keep War "Room" stories in a "closet" I'll stop coming. Please don't make us click twice for a story.
Thanks

Kenny Lofton's picture
[Read the article: King Kaufman's Sports Daily]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]A very disturbing fan shot from TV was where Kenny Lofton's picture was pasted inside the Chief Wahoo picture. Kenny's loved here, but putting his foto inside the Chief's struck me as totally racist.

I thought Shays was OK
[Read the article: What have you done for me lately?]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]For some reason, Shays did or said something some time back that makes me think he was an okay Repub. Turns out I was wrong.
Damn, he's just like the rest of them.

Compare their rallies with the Democrats'
[Read the article: Rudy's judicial bargain]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]He says what he believes and wants to say. The Republicans may be crazy and evil, but they stand proud for their nonsense.
From the Democrats we're getting stories about Clinton's pearls and diamonds and whether they're picking on each other.
Maybe this stuff is controlled by the media, but good Lord, Dems, stand for something and stand proudly. Make noise about what you'll do to run this messed up country.

USA Market sucks
[Read the article: Seeking the cellphone future, in Kampala]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]The US market for cell phones has to be the worst in the entire world. There are, what, maybe ten Nokia models available here? There are maybe ten Motorola models available in the US? Go to a Mexican cell phone company, telcel, and shop for phones. Go to European cell phone companies and shop for phones. Living anywhere else in the world means you have a zillion phone models to choose from.
USA !!!! never Number One !!!

Men are idiots, right?
[Read the article: Turns out, advertising stereotypes men too]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]As I mentioned to my two sons yesterday, most of the portrayals of men on TV, shows and commercials, portray us as simple-minded, dumb, clueless, clumsy buffoons.
Almost every commercial, from car ads to beer ads, to insurance ads, to TV shows with am man shows him as slightly aware of anything. Are all these men stoned, stupid, or cleverly disconnected from reality?
Every woman and child of the men's families is smarter than he is. The only male smarter than the main male character in a commericial is one of his friends.
How clueless are the cellphone company guys? How belittled is the husband sitting on the psychologist's couch explaining the newest potato chip package?
I'm sick of the way men are protrayed in commercials.
Hispanic ads don't show men this way. Family men are equals, no diminished morons.

orgy?
[Read the article: Citing Google, pornographer claims orgies are bigger than apple pie]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]I Googled orgy for Cleveland and all I got was the "Yankees had an Orgy of Hits against the Indians."

Not much information back on search
[Read the article: Can Cuil kill Google? Not yet ]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]Cuil is a loser for me.
The page came back with columns, and showed only 11 listings that I had to circle around the page to read. I couldn't easily read and scroll down a list to find what I need.
I didn't find an advanced search page, so it isn't useful. The advanced search page let's me ask the results to show 100 listings per page, which is usually plenty enough listings to give me the information and webpages I need.
I guess Google still holds the best searches for me.
