Aside from the specific points you made, there is no doubt that cowardice is the reason for many of them choosing the cowardly anon title. I basically hold many of them in contempt before they utter a word. I don't hide that contempt. It often times shows in my 'subject' lines addressed at them.

But this is really a discussion for the Chocolate Interrobang.

    -- Frankly, my dear

You're right, Frankly, my dear, and I can't tell you, Karen, how much sleep I have lost because I haven't articulated my thoughts on paper well enough yet to send them in to the Chocolate Interrobang. Seriously.

Last week I hoed out a bunch of thistle bushes for a friend in her horse pasture and covered the thistles with plastic and then covered the plastic with a lot of firewood to keep it over the thistle bushes. The reason for that was to see that the thistles weren't able to seed all over the pasture. Yesterday I went over to my friend's house and she pointed out that one of the horses, the youngest one that acts like a teenager or "a ten year old kid" my friend said, had uncovered one of the piles. Just for kicks.

Limpshooter's remarks today remind of that silly horse just doing stupid shit for entertainment purposes, which, unfortunately, might in turn lead to planting bad seeds in the pasture of life.

LimpShooter needs to be eliminated from this board. He/she/IT/ is the bad seed that never stops spreading it's horridness. Never. It never stops. Young ponies grow out of such mischief making. Idiots like LimpShooter never grow up. They just become senile mischief makers.

    Show me how Democracy works.

    This is how Democracy works!

I'm whistling really, really, really loudly! Even doing the Happy Dance...to the tune of Sweet Dreams...since I've been listening to that off and on all day.

Post Script: Is Annie Lenox sexy or what!? Yikes!

if it is even possible for him to top that one.

My friend also reminded me that horses have a brain the size of a walnut. LimpShooter has the equivalent. So don't expect it to improve it's behavior, ever. That's why I want it to be banned.

Just my not at all humble opinion. No beating around the mulberry necessary when it comes to expressing disdain for the LimpShooter.

    And all others:

In your Raw Story link George Bush is quoted as saying, "I felt like the ad was an attack not only on General Petraeus but on the U.S. military. And I was disappointed that not more leaders in the Democrat party...

Bush, in his ramblings the day after the 2006 election, was called out for having several times used that right wing, fools gold of a slam, democrat party. Days later he made a little joke about his less than admirable grasp of the English language while making a so called "apology" for not using the correct and only reference to the Democratic Party.

So, is George Bush so addle brained that he can't remember the name of the party, and that he also can't remember being called out less than a year ago for having called it the democrat party? Or is George Bush just being a juvenile frat boy getting his licks in every chance that he gets?

Another reason why that was a feeble analogy is because Patraeus has a record dating back to the beginning of the Iraq occupation of saying the same 'happy talk' turning a corner in Iraq' nonsense, just like the tripe he told congress this last time. So, that being the case, his deluded quarter-baking has been running his team into the ground since the first minutes of the first quarter.

    Quite a pickle.

    -- casual_observer

I don't really thinks it all that tough or all that hard to see what needs to be done. We've already begun replacing some of the worst. We just keep finding candidates to run in primaries against sackless Dems, and of course find strong willed Dems to run against any and all Republican Senate and Congressional seats that are in play.

Make it more and more clear that we are doing that, so the Dems currently hemming and hawing might find a little spine with which to cast their floor votes between now and the time we boot them out.

I'm not saying it will be at all easy to do all of that and be successful at it. I'm just saying that it's an easy and obvious choice to make as far as what are best shot at cleaning this mess up is.

I'll just say, without being the least bit wordy about it, that I couldn't disagree more with your take on the moveon ad, and your take on how it played, and your take on the left - or what you think is "the left. Every thing you wrote in that post is basically up is downism.
