[Read more letters about this article: Here]Oh, and I happen to think PHALLACY is a great title too.
-- bilzim
I think it would be nice if Glenn were to tell us what his top ten picks are at this point. I mean, gee wizz, come on. "There are at least 10 so far that are vastly superior to anything we thought of on our own."--GG
Hey, lets have some fun with it!

[Read more letters about this article: Here]History abounds with countless other examples of followers "bizarrely" rallying around a leader after incidents that might, in some alternate, rational, reality, be seen as failures of leadership.
-- sysprog
like General Custer. He got everybody killed in a matter of a half hour or so, but was lionized for being a great General.
"Custer's Last Stand" is what they call it. How about, Custer's last FUBAR?

More Custer

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Although you can't take it away from Custer that he put his own neck on the line over and over again, literally. Put himself into the heat of the battle time and time again. What do today's Generals, not to mention politicians, do?

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Any idiot can see that this is not a prediction. It's a gleeful hope for a bomb to fall on American's heads so as to "get rid of the FISA court".
"We're one bomb away from getting rid of that obnoxious [FISA] court,"

[Read more letters about this article: Here]The blogs I read (and there are several) link to right wing blogs all the time. Not for backup or because they think something wise might have been imparted, but usually because the linked to blog has something to do with the discussion or topic. Consequently, even though I sure as heck don't bother or go out of my way to read, say, Powerline, or the consistantly wrong all the time Michelle Malkin, I do read some of what right wing blogs are posting. So I/we are not in quite the black hole or vacuum that you have attempted to describe.

[Read more letters about this article: Here]Wow. Sh**ter's gonna 'enforce the law' [as he sees it] around here (while breaking it with gusto himself just like his RWA idols in the maladministration). Him and what army? Maybe he can enlist the services of Hemingway (see previous post).
Cheers,
-- Arne Langsetmo
Sh**ter must have been emboldened by the Mustache Ride Bolten's cocky bullshit reply to the reporter about, "Well..uh, uh, that's great. You'd rather live in a dictatorship than a failed state. That's your preference."
What a puny man is Bolton. And I have to add...jeepers creepers, that man is ugly.
There is nothing to add about the excrement that calls itself shooter242.

Homely?
[Read the article: Various items]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]No, as Glenn has said he only writes about what interests him, which obviously doesn't include bipartisanship, but does include making fun of how people look. Tsk.
-- shooter242
Your obsession with that makes one wonder if you're as ugly on the outside as you have shown yourself by your posts to be on the 'inside'. Gawd forgid...because that would be one painfully ugly sonofabitch if so.

shooter, inside and out
[Read the article: Various items]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]This is sad. Not because of your defensiveness about me, but because you people have decided to wallow in bigotry and prejudice. Are none of you concious of the idea that ridiculing people around how they look is the first basis of racism, sexism, and dismissing the disabled? I swear you people are as reflexive as dogs. All Glenn has to do is throw a stick somewhere, even if in the mud, and you all will gallop en masse into the dirt. What's next, making fun of retards and black people? Or maybe we can initiate a jihad against people that wear moustaches like this clown....--shooter
To put some context on my remarks to you about ugly looks, my reply was because you have brought up the subject numerous times. Your additions about "blacks" and "retarded people" and so on and so on does not apply to me. That was just your usual hyperbolic bullshit.
Also, I am of the belief that the attitude one caries around with them in some but not all cases presents itself in their physical appearance. I don't hold ones looks against them but say, in the case of Ann Coulter for example, I honestly see her physical appearance as extremely ugly. Some don't see it but I do, and what I believe I am seeing about her is an ugliness that manifests due to her ugly attitude. Thus, that seems like a possible scenario in regards to you.
If you're not such a fine or average looking fellow I have not a bad word to say to you about that. Heck, we are all subjected to those knocks. Or most of us are. But if you look like you sound because of the way you sound or come off on these boards, which to me is very ugly, well, that would be another matter.

Shooter's 'F' Grade...Agaiin
[Read the article: The D.C. establishment versus American public opinion]
[Read more letters about this article: Here]ROFL
Oh yeah, I'm going to accept as definitive the opinions of a group where
* 46% have a HS diploma or LESS,
-- shooter242
How does that have any bearing on the opinions those people expressed? Do you think that having a BA in Pet Rocks or something gives one more inherent ability to understand what is in front of their noses? For you to reflexively 'ROLF' at people who have a "high school diploma or less" is not only stupid, but it is bigoted.
That remark or yours puts even more of your usual hypocrisy on display for having accused many posters of so called bigotry in the thread about Macho-Man Mark Hemingway. But then, I never expected you to make it past a post or two before you once again put both feet in your mouth.
