Garry

As for the people who tried to dismiss me, including Glenn, because I post at Salon, what kind of idiot logic is that? You ALL post at Salon! Those statements were born out of anger because I successfully rattled your cages.

--Garry Owen

No, you didn't rattle cages, you trashed people for posting at Salon even though none of us were trying to make the case that posting at Salon is a waste of time, as you were doing in your Salon post. Strange, coming from someone who has about a couple of hundred Salon posts. See the difference?

One Funny Anonymeice

"Anonymous" is my real name -- damn my Surrealist parents. It was a real problem growing up. It was worse for my brother Einhandsegeln. And for Richard. Poor little girl.

--Anonymous

Lol.

shooter

And your point would be what exactly? Fitzgerald can opine all he likes, but he didn't prosecute anyone for leaking her identity. Nobody. Zip, zero, nada, nobody. There was no crime.

-- shooter242

This should not be necessary to point out to anyone with a brain but that apparently leaves you out. Obstruction of justice, shooter, you fucking idiot, means that the case couldn't be made because the guy with the information was obstructing the information. For the love of gawd, how stupid are you, shooter?

It Matters

That some, or even many, of you are arguing that it doesn't matter that most of the world has taken a great degree of dislike to America over the last seven years doesn't matter, I have to think that you are arguing just to hear yourselves argue. It matters. How could it not?

OT... Grave Yard

May I introduce you to the youngster, Molly Tuttle.

Anonymieces

BTW -- I'm not that "Anonymous" . . .

--Anonymous

Well, just how anonymous are you, seeing how you don't have a name?

Thursday, July 5, 2007 04:52 PM

DCLaw!

Excellent. Thanks. I'll not waste words beyond that. Thank you for your input.

Real

You can't risk undermining your own support. So being 'liked' is a one way street.

-- RealName

Proudly posing as being the biggest dicks on the planet doesn't have to be the way we go about expressing our opinions or gaining respect. We don't have to be dickwads in order to gain and retain respect, do we? I mean, I've noticed that is your approach. You with the "don't fuck with me" facade of showing the 'furiners' what you're about. But there are other ways to be respected. Dontchathink?

Frogs, and Then Molly Again

No, no frog,

Been seeing a lot of boiling frog talk on here lately. Makes me want to remind you all that the myth about a frog not trying to jump out of the water until it's too late is...a myth. Frogs don't like overly hot water any more so than you or I. They'll scram just as quickly as any of us would if they could.

And now...I bring you all my second introduction to Molly, only this time with her dad.

Molly Correction

I meant to post this one.

Garry

Is there a joke in there somewhere? I sure hope so. Because if you were serious...well, that would really be embarrassing for you.

Rock of Ages

Sorry. I know I'm being bad for being OT but I just have to post this last one (I promise) of Molly playing clawhammer banjo and singing. She was 13 when she recorded this one.

RealMan

Yeah, I get it. You're a tough guy and you're jaded. How cool of you. You're so scary and strong and stuff. And so worldly. Gee! ;o).

Anonymieces666

Maybe the poor, backward, and ignorant have opinions that are influenced in no small part by being poor, backward, and ignorant - and in your case, two outta three ain't bad.

--Anonymous

So then something like 70% of the world's population is ignorant? But you, of course, are sharp as a tack?

Friday, July 6, 2007 02:14 PM

Hmm

Well, I guess I wasn't all that badly misbehaving yesterday, comparatively speaking, to have posted a few links to a young lady singing and playing banjo and guitar. Compared to all this libertarian back and forth my OT posts were at least fun.

william

I forgot to thank you then, so let me do it now. It was a true pleasure.

-- William Timberman

Thanks, William. I'm glad you took the time to take notice, and that you enjoyed her music. I'm so pleased to have discovered her. She's such a 'pick-me-up'!

About the Blogospere and the Internet:

I really do hate to think what the world would look like right now if there wasn’t a blogosphere because really, the only people who are speaking out against Joe Lieberman and his incessant nutjob calls to invade Iran seem to be bloggers. It’s not meant to be blogger triumphalism — there really isn’t anything remarkable about the ability to do so — you just have to wonder what’s wrong with everyone else that they aren’t.

--Jane Hamsher

There is a difference between TV, radio, magazines and newspapers in comparison to what the blogoshere has brought to the equation of news and editorial availability.

@RealName

You can find me cussing here and there in my comments on this blog. Sometimes, no doubt, too much so, and in bad taste.

But I'm not going to let that stop me from informing you that, in my opinion, you grossly abuse the swearing and it's not helping your already extremely unconvincing commenting.
