Please?

My concern for him stops there.

-- shooter242

Shooter? Concern? Ever? At any point? For any human being? For any questionable governmental decision, action or overreach? I don't think so.

If you want to be taken at your word, Shooter, you'll need to go to some blog where they have never heard of you. Please, take my advice on that. And, please, stay there for as long as you are welcome...and then some, if that's what it takes, (which it will).

"You don't have to go home but you can't stay here", said the 'sick to death of you bartender'. She or he has a point, Shooter.

Tibbydoo

Where's all your outrage about the Americans currently being held by Iran? It doesn't exist because Iran of course couldn't really do anything wrong. They're the victims aren't they.

-- tiberius

Do you get some kind of pleasure by coming off as stupid, on top of actually being stupid? Or this all an act? For your sake, I hope it's an act.

Unfortunately, though, you are most likely really as stupid as you proudly claim to be.

Karen's Troll Advice

If you don't return the lobs, however many balls there are, eventually that particular game stops. No one is going to keep on serving if they can't get a response.

--Karen

It's not that I disagree with you Karen, and that I might do well to take your advice, but we often see this kind of post where asking those who reply to trolls not do so. Thing is, as to giving trolls attention, I don't see any difference in telling those giving attention to trolls by posting direct remarks to them, between telling those who make those posts that they shouldn't do that. It's attention either way.

"Heh"

I think the peanut gallery can distinguish what I said, from what you want to hear. Heh.

-- shooter242

Umm, let me think about it for a minute.

Yep. Sounded about right to me. The comment was indistinguishable from your comment."Heh".

By the way, Shooter...is the "heh" thing a tick? Like winking or flinching at inappropriate moments just because you can't help yourself?

RealDimwit

Imagine if someone said that sex offenders shouldn't be monitored because they've served their time.

--RealName

Comparing tried and convicted sex offenders to never tried, convicted or even accused so called terrorists? There is no fucking comparison. The fact that that is lost on you (as is clear in your comment) explains quite well what a dimwit you are.

False Claims

"You say that you do not believe that governments will abuse the power it has. That is an extraordinary claim..."

Except that isn't what he claimed. You probably know that. But if not, go back and read it again. Maybe you'll have a better understanding next time.

Didn't see your comment, william, as I was typing mine. I see that you and I agree that Bucky was almost certainly being dishonest rather than dense. Too bad about that dishonest streak.

Wednesday, June 27, 2007 06:18 AM

Weird

I see you hide behind others to slime people. Grownups can not talk here for slime balls like you poisoning the well. I am sure that William can take care of himself; and we all know that your only function here is to make personal attacks. You do not need to prove that each day.

-- bucky1

Not just a little hyperbolic and dramatic, eh, Buck?

I'm not hiding. I'm right here, just as I was when I interjected a comment into your dishonest comment to William.

As much as you seem to like to think so, you don't speak for "we all" or what "we all know".

Wednesday, June 27, 2007 06:45 AM

Buck

As I wrote in my next comment following the comment regarding your dishonesty about William, I hadn't seen his comment before posting mine.

But enough of this. Replying to you has been, once again, a waste of time.

?Shooter

The link you provided is for a poll dated September 6th 2003. Why are you posting a link to that poll while you are writing about a poll that you said was dated September 13, 2001?

Shooter

I see it now at the end of the poll. I Missed it the first time through.

Karen

FYI... for future reference, the plural of anonymous is anonymice,

Really? Sounds peculiar. That's nice to know though, because, I will surely be using it.

Anonymouse is also odd sounding

It's about a tie. Anonymice reminds me of Jinks the cartoon Cat and his side kick cartoon mice he often referred to as mieses. He would often exclaim that he hated mieces to pieces.

@Boomerang

OTOH - "Halberstam wasn't sitting behind a computer at home in his pajamas ..."

Said Bomerang 242 while sitting behind a computer at home in his pajamas.

@Boomerang242

The absolute worst part of all this for the left, is that most people DO trust Bush and Cheney and that is one reason why. Politicians are slimy promisers delivering the illusion of integrity while doing whatever is required to maintain general approval levels. You may not like them, but they don't try to ingratiate themselves with pretense. There is nothing so feared in DC than an honest man.

-- shooter242

Emphasis mine

Ohhhhh, the stupid. How it hurts.

Tibby's Snark

Life would be easier if people would just accept that the U.S. military, administration and media are never telling the truth and are always lazy and stupid.

[snip]

When will you start reporting that the SUV in the Glasgow airport simply had trouble parallel parking and that Cheney was the person throwing gasoline around.

-- tiberius

Tiberius, please tell us a little about yourself. Put a face, so to speak, to the words that come out of it.
