It could not be clearer how things work at the wapo: the organization which executes the coup against Allende (and Allende himself) buys a self-congratulatory etitorial in its hometown paper. Pravda on the Potomac, indeed.
Because, being the hometown paper of Langley, VA, it more than likely gets off-books funding from the hometown agency. Thus, they can't mention 'torture', because it was, after all, agency personnel who tortured. The wapo's readership and revenues have been falling for the last 6 or 7 years. They are abviously supported by some 'other' mechanism. Like their sister publication the washington times, breaking even isn't all that important when someone else is paying the bills.
brian williams. That's pretty much his quote. But seriously, maybe what she means is that obama had to choose some odious person, and panetta's extensive intel. links weren't so well known that even some cheeto-eating guy blogging from his basement in his underwear would be aware of them. Brennan was too obviously a creep; panetta's more of a stealth creep. i find her dismissive tone to be repulsive and unprofessional.
By constantly harping on some innane jag, with the wink and the nod from the M$M, they hope to put a drag on Obama, so that they can claim later on that Obama, 'once again, turned back on his word'. They don't give a crap about any of the cliche-ridden monologues they spout. They just want to embarass and discredit Obama and the democrats. And by continuing to sponsor these obscene theater, the broadcasters are not fulfilling their legal Public Service obligations.
These folks can come up with more inanities than Glenn or anyone else can hope to refute. It may not always be worthwhile responding to the cliches. These stupid talking points are a method; the objective of that method is what needs to be addressed.
She's a goddamned Cracker who represents Rochester. Rochester has some very strong points, but its population is considerably to the right of Rep. Slaughter, yet she keeps getting re-elected. I was hoping Patterson would appoint her Senator (Moynihan was from there). She addressed the first Eschacon, the sole Congressperson to diegn to break bread with the DFHs. She said, a quote: In 2000 we had a coup. She made it very clear that she thought the Executive Branch was illegiimate.
Several months ago I wrote Sec. Napolitano asking that she lodge a Uighur at my house as I have a room, a Muslim housemate and her son, and live not far from a mosque. Never got a response. Too bad, I was serious.
I think that he was beaten to death; that he didn't recover from one too many irfings. Since the medical staff assists in torture, they can't possibly have any credibility in this matter. I also think that the reason that obama won't allow holder to bring some detainees to trial is that they have been irfed beyond recognition; that their mere presence in a courtroom would show to the world what has been done to them by the brave military and security personnel protecting our rights.
is that alito was lying. His anti-women at Princeton crusade proves that. But another big difference is that Sotomayor isn't opus dei.
Taken from another website:
"Of all the enemies of true liberty, war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other.
War is the parent of armies; from these proceed debts and taxes; and armies, and debts, and taxes are the known instruments for bringing the many under the domination of the few.
In war, too, the discretionary power of the Executive is extended; its influence in dealing out offices, honors and emoluments is multiplied; and all the means of seducing the minds, are added to those of subduing the force, of the people.
The same malignant aspect in republicanism may be traced in the inequality of fortunes, and the opportunities of fraud, growing out of a state of war, and in the degeneracy of manner and of morals, engendered in both.
No nation can preserve its freedom in the midst of continual warfare.
War is in fact the true nurse of executive aggrandizement. In war, a physical force is to be created; and it is the executive will, which is to direct it.
In war, the public treasuries are to be unlocked; and it is the executive hand which is to dispense them.
In war, the honors and emoluments of office are to be multiplied; and it is the executive patronage under which they are to be enjoyed; and it is the executive brow they are to encircle.
The strongest passions and most dangerous weaknesses of the human breast; ambition, avarice, vanity, the honorable or venal love of fame, are all in conspiracy against the desire and duty of peace.
(James Madison, 4th President, Bill of Rights author, Congressman, Cabinet Member, also called the “Father of the U.S. Constitution”; above quote is from his “Political Observations,” April 20, 1795, in Letters and Other Writings of James Madison, Volume IV, page 491."
If obama gets re-elected and the Afghan campaign (sic) continues, by the end of his second term he will have been at war longer than any other U.S. president.
...Who needs Pravda when you have ABC News?

Is george mitchell still the chairman of the board of disney, owner of abc?
And kiriakou now works for john kerry (marie burns).
Powerful democrats doing the people's work. It's to retch for!
Knowing what agency ross's source came from goes a long way to establishing a high level of disbelief. These guys have never lied before, right?
I like that KSM divulged his whole Roladex under torture. Nice trick, that.
