Its frustrating to try to reason with people who get hung up on something like "death panel" its just an exagerrated term for rationing --which is nothing new. Unless you're incredibly

naive, you already realize we have rationing, through natural,

common sense means.

Conservatives are not anti-reform. Conservatives want fiscally-responsible reform within our current markets. The

democrats have created a disaster that does not reduce or even contain costs. They've Missed the Boat.

You need a massive infrastructure project like light rail/high-speed rail that will put engineers, planners, construction workers, plus all the manufacturers of rail cars, seating, equipment, controls, etc., that go inside the cars; steel workers for the rail, laying rail, and the associated suppliers. A nationwide project to link regions of the country by rail would keep people employed for years and years. And the country would benefit in more ways than one: This is how you really go "green".. you give people an alternative to driving cars everyday. And, by making it easier to travel within and across this country, you encourage tourism, and, by providing rail service you make it easier for people to find jobs in other cities as well.

This is not democrat vs republican... any reasonable person can see that Obama's a preacher; he's a professional campaigner., he was able to fool most Americans, however, now he's being judged on his effectiveness and his performance. He's running around like a chicken with its head cut off... getting invlved with police/Gates issue when he should have been focused on Jobs, Jobs Jobs. Getting involved in Olympics, when he should have focused on Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. Lets face it, we spend our time on what we're most comfortable doing. And he's obviously most comfortable preaching his life story (over and over) in front of an audience. Get real.

Hollywood/liberal agenda appears to highlight dysfunctional family life, berating men,and trying to "desensitize us" to freaks. There's no benefit, and eventually this will turn off most intelligent people.

You have to talk to small business owners from various industries. I do believe that the good-paying jobs that went overseas over many years, triggered all of our problems, helped by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Supposedly, the ultimate end result of sending those jobs to China was to create more consumers of our products. So what happened?

None of these bills are addressing the root of the problem: ever-increasing costs. They mistakenly think that removing the insurance companies is the answer, but that's only putting a band-aid over the problem. Insurance companies don't create the costs, they just pass the costs along. I'm convinced our leaders don't have a clue how things work; we've got a bunch of amateurs running this country.

The proposed bills fail to reduce costs, all they do is "shift" the costs to taxpayers. Why do you think democrats are scrambling around looking for creative ways to tax everything? VAT is the latest.

We must be living in Bizarro World. Making a billion speeches and profiting from books which repeat the same rhetoric about your childhood-- should Not qualify you for the Nobel Peace Prize. There should be some Accomplishment. Just look at Chicago, his own state---his speeches and neighborhood organizing certainly did not create "peace"

As I've said from the very beginning, starting with Obama's

campaign, the democrats have done more to "Divide the Country", and this is just another example. Democrats need to

study the states that have already tried various forms of government-run healthcare to cover everyone. Mass., Tn., N.Y.,

Maine, Wash., etc.: 1) they increased costs instead of reducing costs 2) they were unsuccessful in covering everyone.

We don't have an example of a state that has been successful

doing this; if we did, then that's what could be benchmarked.

Hate to burst your bubble, however, if you broaden your reading and listening beyond MSNBC, you'd know that most people are asking that same question that Steele is asking.

Its shocking to know that you can win a Peace prize just through words, instead of Accomplishment. All this does is

Diminish the prize.

If you diversify where you're getting your news and information --you'd realize Germany's healthcare system is financially unstable! That's not one we want to benchmark....

So, Fox News is the only station that paid any attention to

ACORN, and now our president /dictator is attacking Fox? Wow, Obama's taken "control" to dangerous new levels. I force myself to listen to all the stations, but I have to admit

Fox is the only one that's informative, analytical and actually

reports All the news.

Democrats are screwing the very people who voted for them: the

naive, young, in their 20's., forcing them to buy health insurance. And if they choose Not to buy insurance and opt for the $1,000 penalty instead, then that means the rest of us will pay through higher premiums. What a great plan.

If Snowe has any sense at all, she'll tell them the truth, that they need to scrap the bill and Start Over. We can't afford to pay higher premiums. We're going backwards, not forward.

Just Focus on Reducing Costs and everyone wins; then you don't have to play games. Democrats are obsessed with the insurance industry and they're overlooking tremendous opportunity to reduce costs.

Conservatives have identified excellent opportunities to Reduce Costs, but democrats are "stuck on stupid"---they'd rather play games with the insurance companies than actually reduce costs and solve problems.

This is a joke. Its pretty black and white: you're either

for government takeover or you're against it...there's very little gray area.
