The majority of Americans are against the government-run public
option., Obama knows this.
Are you that narrow-minded that you assume if someone's against
the government-run public option, they're also against health reform? Must be difficult for liberals-- not only are you math-challenged, but also reading comprehension and logic challenged....
The only jobs that Obama seems capable of creating are government jobs. Everyone knows there are parasitic people who thrive on government funds, government ignorance, unaccountability in government, bureaucracy. Look at government-funded ACORN... our tax dollars pay unprofessional, uneducated, unethical people, to do illegal transactions. Its an insult to all Americans.
How anal. This administration is going downhill faster than
anyone could imagine.
Carter is already viewed as one of the weakest presidents in history, and his latest comment about racism really proves what an ignorant idiot he is. He's not helping blacks at all by making those comments. We elected a black president, and to be told that you're a racist because you disagree with his policy is going backwards, not forward.
The result: Blacks will not be voted into public office if the result of disagreeing with them means you're called a racist.
Michael Steele is absolutely right. And Jimmy Carter continues to prove he's as weak as we always thought he was. Democrats continue to create "victims" only so they can turn around and "rescue" them.
How refreshing to finally hear an "adult" speak out.
Could it be, that more and more Americans (including blacks) disapprove of Obama because:
1) his arrogant "dismissal" and accusation that those who oppose his policy are "against" health reform
2) his complete failure at attempting health insurance reform
3) his pro-union stance, to the detriment of other individuals
4) his mishandling of GM
5) his lack-of-stimulus plan
6) his constant flip-flopping
7) his mishandling of Gates/police issue
Reverse racism is gaining more attention because its there; only now we're seeing higher-profile examples:
1) New Haven case: how do you explain not promoting someone only because you're afraid of offending another group?
2) The Gates/police confrontation
If Kanye West was white and Taylor was black, it would be called racism; same with Serena's attack and threats to the Asian judge.
Its been happening in schools for years in both academic and sports; in middle schools all the way up to college. Students aren't as open about it because its subtle, however, it creates resentment over time.
Obama's GM deal (government-takeover) alienated many Americans who voted for him. Many people who work for GM suppliers invested their hard-earned money in GM, and when the government took it over--- they lost their money. They were left out. These are people who make Less than the GM unionworkers, these investors were average Americans who believed in GM, invested in GM, but Obama didn't care if they got screwed over. Instead, he gave the highly-paid unionworkers a piece of GM. Its decisions like this that turn people against Obama, it has nothing to do with racism.
If Democrats added up all the times they've insisted "but, its only $....." they could probably pay for all those Americans without health insurance.
ACORN is a big deal to democrats; we know Obama would not have
been elected without ACORN.
Come on, we know Obama's numbers are dropping at an alarming rate. However, trying to prey on people's emotions calling every comment "racist" will only backfire, causing people not to vote for blacks, period.
Olympia Snowe stated her concern that "middle class will not be able to afford Baucus' plan". So, if the middle class can't even afford it, why on earth
would she support it? Why are they even considering it?
My entire family were die-hard democrats for decades., the Kennedy brand: strong work eithic, driven by Catholic values that also consisted of helping those who need help, and "ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country" philosophy.
The current democratic party is more radical, with an
"entitlement mentality" of "we voted for you, so what are you going to do for me, now?" which is evident in healthcare reform debate. Also, the democrats using the race card whenever they think it benefits them, which I first noticed
in the campaign when they used it against Hillary Clinton.
Needless to say, I am no longer a democrat. I have conservative values, much like JFK, and it makes me sick to
watch what the democrats have become.
(Liberals prefer to think of conservatives, unfortunately, based on a few extremists on radio or TV)
Of course, most conservatives relate more to Joe Scarborough; value his opinions, common sense and humor, along with great guests on "Morning Joe".
Democrats have no plan; what they have is an embarrasment, and its split the democratic party. The Democrats made a huge mistake in the way they went about health insurance reform; they know it and we all know it. They will be known for their half-ass, ineffective, failed attempt at health insurance reform.
If Obamacare was such a great plan it would sell itself. He's not fooling anyone. Democrats blew their chance at health
reform. All they've done is "shift" costs instead of reducing costs. Without cost reduction, you have nothing.
Democrats are in denial: ignoring the polls, ignoring the CBO,
ignoring citizens who protest, ignoring common sense, etc.
What the current leadership has proven is their Incompetence in
putting together a legitimate health insurance reform bill, because they totally ignored the costs, and didn't try to reduce costs first.
The GOP isn't fibbing, they're only exposing the facts that the
Democrats are hiding. Obama administration doesn't want Americans to listen to investigative reporters-- because why? Well, because they'll find out the real facts behind ACORN, they reveal that Democrats including Obama, are taking millions of money from insurance lobbyists, that the administration is trying to CONTROL the media. This administration has been extremely Deceptive concerning healthcare reform.
