Yeah I think Nintendo has this one in the bank

Some interpret this feature as Nintendo’s direct response to the iPhone and its game-heavy App Store, and I agree.

This is not a response to the App store this is the direction the video game industry has been headed for the last decade and if any thing is a direct response to the xbox live marketplace. You do know there are other companies on this earth besides Apple, right? Forget that online gaming and download services for the pc that have been around for 15 plus years now for a moment and look at just consul makers. Nintendo has a long history in trying new forms of online play from the NES days. Sega tried several systems and brought play over the internet with the Dreamcast in 2000. Microsoft had broadband internet play with the Xbox in 2001 and brought the marketplace where customers could buy games in 2005. Nintendo introduced their own marketplace when they released the Wii in 2006. A good 2 years before the App store.

But can Nintendo meaningfully compete with iPhone? ...But I’m skeptical its download service will be anywhere as appealing as the App Store.

The DS alone has sold a 100 million units so wake me when the Iphone closes to even half the gap. Now if you mean compete with software of course it will. The large software firms like EA that even bother with the Iphone/touch will make a version for the DS. Its a no brainer. The new DS will sell more units in its first year than their will be Iphones at the end of that time and all of those buyers are using it for gaming while the people that use the Iphone for games is much much smaller.

Why the different rules?

The release of these photos do not violate the privacy of Rihanna. She is an accuser and the bill of rights gives the accused the right to face his/her accuser and the press freedom. Er go she has no privacy in this case. These photos are a part of the case and are or will soon be public record.

And here is another thing she will have to testify and give her account of what transpired if this case goes to trial and she will be cross examined. Thank FSM too, as the goal of too many feminist is to eliminate that step to the process.

If you....

If you walk into a car dealership the salesman is going to assume you are looking for a new vehicle.

If you walk into a defense lawyers office the lawyer is going to assume you need representation and point out your options.

If you walk into a cardiologist office they are going to ask you how your heart is doing.

In other words don't be surprised or offended that a person walking into a cosmetic surgeons office is going to assume you want something done and point out what s/he thinks is wrong.

Give the guy a break

The "boyfriend" was told this on the second date. That is an awful personal thing to tell someone on a second date especially when it happened just a month before. And I would bet the mortgage his attempt to talk about his balls was nothing more than an attempt to share something he felt was equally as intimate and he would never tell that story to any other person on the second date. His reaction probably had nothing at all to do with the abortion but how soon she felt the need to share it.

What should the Stimulus have

Should the stimulus give more money to sensitivity training that way women study majors can actually get a job?

Now lets get real, about 80 percent of the jobs lost in the last year have been male. Women have experienced net positive employment during the downturn while men have negative employment.

And if you want to join the discussion from a feminist view why not mention that a major part of the downturn is runaway consumer spending and women are responsible for over 80 percent of the dollars spent on consumer goods.

I second Anticleon

Tracy you are the best writer on BS by miles. You are the only one that actually seems willing to listen to a different view point and you are the only one that is not insane when it comes to sex. Though I don't agree with you often I do at least know that rarely if ever will I find male bashing and perversion of science and logic.

beball is right

It is not "blaming the victim" to suggest they might need help. And it is this attitude that victims have no control over their action that leads to more harm. Taking at face value that Rihanna was jealous over a text which lead to fight that ended in violence and she tossed the keys, she could have avoided the situation at several different times. This is not to excuse Chris Brown in any way but to prevent her from being injured. (This should not have to be said but it does here we do not live in a perfect world and there are bad people that will take advantage of you or do bad things to you even if you do nothing illegal.) If she waited to she cooled down or waited for Brown to cool down to have a conversation. Or if she did not throw the keys away and instead of waited to they where in an area with more people around she could most likely avoided her injuries. But, she was angry and wanted to make her point than and there.

Never mind if the reports that this is not the first time are true. She could have left at any time but she put herself in a situation where this could happen. She is more successful than Brown and has worked with more big names so she has nothing to fear for her career.
