Death Threats- The whole issue of the death threats is nothing more than a straw man. Yes there are too many inappropriate comments but lets be real for a moment for every 1 of them there is hundreds that criticize her with out calling for any violence. Yes we agree that people that do that are assholes and serious threats should be investigated. But, this is nothing more than an excuse for her behavior, as it does nothing else but to say well what Nadya did was bad what they did is "worse". Especially since 99.9 of these threats are nothing more than people being either outrageous for outragousness sake or letting their base reaction out without a moment of reflection. Nadya could walk right in front of these assholes and give them a gun and they wouldn't do shit.

Mental Illness- Its obvious that there is something wrong with this women but that does not make it a mental illness or change the fact that she choose these actions. She comes no where near the legal standard for mentally impaired as she knew what the consequences of her actions are. From a layman's view it appears that she has some form of extreme Narcissism and Obsessive behavior but so do most serial killers. Yet, we hold them accountable for their behavior and rightfully so because they know what they are doing.

Blame the Doctor- What where his options?

This seems to be a some what unregulated industry with unclear ethic guidelines. And since the idea of giving women and/or men a psychological test before doing this procedure would cause uproar, especially in places like Broadsheet and especially from the likes Kate, the doctor could only do what the patient asked along as it does not interfere with law and ethical guidelines. Do not forget that there are lawsuits making there way though the courts about how much latitude a doctor has in denying this procedure to a patient. And there are lawsuits going though the courts about the "ownership" of the eggs.

So if he denied her request, he could be facing a huge lawsuit from her and she does seem to be sue happy and narcissistic so that is almost surely going to happen. At this point he does not have a clear legal defense either as the ethic guidelines are not even remotely clear in cases like this. How much do you want to bet that if he denied her claim that the Kate's of the world would be the first ones to criticize that he denied her because she is a single mother.

This is of course if he knows everything. But, I find it hard to believe that he would know the living condition of the other children. He probably does not know that she lives with her mom and that it is her parents that are paying and supporting the kids along with welfare. I would not be surprised in the least if he does not know that 3 of her kids already have a disability. And with all the lies she has told, it would not surprise me if he assumes she is either married or in a long term relationship since she is allegedly using only one sperm donor. Never mind that he probably figure she has some money as she can afford at least 5 IVF treatments and plastic surgery.

Stop blaming the media for this also. While NBC does share some very small blame in paying Nadya for her interview everyone else in the media is clear. Guess what this is a news story. If she was responsible person with the income to support this family it would be a news story because the extreme is always a news story. The reason it is staying a news story though is again Nadya. She is the one that hired a publicist as her first act of motherhood (of these 8). It is her that will only lie if being paid a million plus. It is she that should have known not to go to the press when her mother is so pissed off and willing to do free interviews. It is she that keeps lying, keeping the story alive when these lies are exposed.

And of course you can't forget us the people. Less than 24 hours after this story is posted there is already 100 plus comments. Other sites that feature this story get about 8 times the comments of the average story and twice that of hot stories. This is a story more than just about any other where just about everyone agrees from the far right to the far left.

The government has already spent 50 million dollars, leaked grand jury testimony, and fired a FD for not lighting up a tourh on their persecution of Barry Bonds. Looks like they want to do the same to A-Rod.

Here is the real issue with the A-Rod test. Congress told baseball to have a testing policy. Baseball had one and in that they agreed that the first year would be a test year and any positive results would be private and destroyed. The AG's office decided that they wanted it and than leaked that private info. That is a disgusting abuse of our system but because it was an athlete we don't care. Shame on us.
