Let me start out by saying I not only don't care if an athlete is using so called PED, I would suggest that they all use it once there body hits maturity. But, come on why is it Bonds that has to be put on the cross for all the sins of others? The media has for years accused Bonds of using PEDs with no evidence except a bitter ex mistress. Then Balco comes along and everyone involved has said Bonds did not use but still the press and MLB did nothing less than hammer the nails in his wrists. But, along comes an "attractive" unwed white mother and she is the hero of our nation with almost no questions asked? Give me a fucking break. As some one already mentioned if she was an Aussie, Irish or Chinese there would be nothing but questions asked about her. And if you want a heart warming story about mother athletes the US already has plenty of those that are almost certainly clean just look our Basketball and softball teams. Or look at that German gymnast that is what 33 in a sport where normally you are washed up by 20 that had a kid.

But here is why one has to be suspicious if you are looking for "clean" athletes of Dara performance.

-Breaking her all time best times in a sport where the peak is in the early to mid 20's.

-Has had 2 surgeries in the last 8 months including one on her shoulder. Again at her age recovery from surgeries take longer to come back from then an athlete in their primes.

-Her boyfriend and father of her child is a Endocrinology, of course not proof of anything by itself but it goes to show that she has someone close that has an understanding of how to mask PED and has access to research on new potential drugs that might give a performance boost.

-Has the money to afford the latest in designer drugs

And her desire to be tested means almost nothing. Bonds never tested positive. Marion Jones never tested positive. The East Germans never tested positive. This list goes on and on.

Also, why does BS give a you go girl for a mom athlete but when a male athlete has a child the kid is called a bastard?

This piece along with your piece of steroids where both great and more important took great courage to write. As seen by the letters here telling the truth especially an athlete telling the truth is hard for most to hear. I would be surprised that your reaction to fans is not the default position of the majority of athletes and I don't blame them or you one bit. The disdain that so many fans have for the athletes they watch is unseen in every other profession except politics and law. So many are quick to insult and belittle not only your accomplishments but also to belittle what sports means. Of course the fans are quick to turn it around and demand respect "because with out them their would be no sports" while ordering the next picture of Bud Lite at the sports bar.

Bar owner have ladies night to bring in a female clientele period. All else being equal a bar does not have to work that hard to bring in men. Most bars will have a game on which brings in men, or the bar is the meeting place to get together after work etc. Since bars are not a natural gathering place or a place that lends itself to female entertainment they have drink specials to get them in.
